Hi Cathy ! Those mice are so darn cute! That’s a beautiful playlist.I’m familiar with most of the songs and all of the singers. Happy Valentine’s Day a bit early!

Great choices, especially Tim McGraw. I saw him in concert on 2006.
Cathy Kennedy
Ellen,
Oh how cool! Tim McGraw has a good voice and I love it when he and Faith sing together.
Brian
Those little lovey critters are too cute! That was a nice tune and a darn good playlist too!
Cathy Kennedy
Brian,
Despite their cuteness, I only like these critters in pictures. I hate it when they find their way in our home. I’m hoping the feline (neighbors’ cats) activity on our property is keeping these little things away from the house. 🙂
Kathe W.
love those cute mice!
Cathy Kennedy
Kathe,
Thanks for dropping by for a visit. The mice are cute, aren’t they? 🙂

Athena and Marie
Oh yeah, I remember Debbie Gibson. Nice song! I also like Woman In Love. Meant a lot to me once!
Cathy Kennedy
Marie,
‘Woman In Love’ is a good oldie. Sometimes I’ll hear songs associated with certain people or feelings and while those things are long past I still love the songs, usually bringing a smile to my face. Thanks for joining me on the dance floor, my dear!
John Holton
I always liked that one by Debbie Gibson. Great choices!
Cathy Kennedy
John,
I’m not sure if I remembered ‘Lost In Your Eyes’ from the 80s or if it’s one of those oldies that was new-to-me until recent years. I really like it regardless. Thanks for joining me on the dance floor!
John Holton
She wrote it, so it was from the ’80’s.
Patrick Weseman
Used to love Debbie back in the day. What a wonderful way to start the day. Very lovely.
Cathy Kennedy

Hi Cathy! Thanks for stopping by my blog! That picture is so awwwdorable! I like the music and especially the list of song tracks. Two of my favorites from that list are #2 & #4, they are from back in my good ole days! 😀 <3
Cathy Kennedy
Deborah,
It’s great seeing your visit. I’m glad you enjoyed the playlist. #2 & #4 are great ones for sure. Mewsic is full of memories sometimes sad ones but there’s a whole lot of good ones, too.

What a great playlist! I haven’t heard many of these tunes in ages.

Hi, Cathy!
I have returned from my blogging hiatus, dear friend. I missed you!
Thanks for providing a play list of romantic songs for Valentine’s week. I wasn’t familiar with that particular Debbie Gibson song and video, even though I read that it reached #1 in 1989. Debbie’s fashion statement with the hat reminds me of Molly Ringwald in Pretty in Pink. Can you believe Debbie turns age 50 this year? “Baby Come To Me” is a very familiar sound of the era and I enjoyed watching and listening to Patti Austin & James Ingram performing it. The highlight for me was hearing Barbra’s “Woman In Love” for the first time in a long time. Penned by The Bee Gees, the single was a chart-topping smash in 1980 and is considered Streisand’s greatest international hit. I also love the duet by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey.
I hope you’ve been well, dear friend Cathy. Have a tunetastic week!
Cathy Kennedy
Tom,
Thanks for including me in your morning rounds. I’m happy to see you back in Blogosphere again!
Several years ago Debbie was on Celebrity Apprentice and I tell ya, my mind just absolutely drew a blank. I didn’t remember her from her hey days in the 80s. I don’t know why but even after listening to her popular songs but looking at the timeline, I can see that she came into her own around the time DD#1 was born which explains a lot. Once I began a full-time SAHM, I rarely listened to the radio except while in the car. Yes, her fashion reminds me of ‘Pretty in Pink’ but then that was the style of the day. Girls liked looking like girls. Thanks for dropping by, my friend.
