A to Z Challenge
2020
After last year’s blog fest I knew what my theme would be for this year but I felt nervous about it until a good friend baited me to try my hand with drawing my own vintage-style pinup girls. For my 7th, I illustrated Cathy’s Pinup Girl Art Sketches using artwork of famous painters, illustrators, and photographers from the past as inspiration. I did not include a quick guide for all my contributions but I will collect all the links into one post and share it with you later.

For my third year in a row, I shared my doodles. This time I picked a theme more specific and challenged myself to sketch characters from👩🎨 The Little Mermaid series👩🎨. For a complete A-Z list, check out my April 2019 Reflections post!

2018
Feeling confident after the previous year’s endeavors I decided to continue my art sketch skills. This time around I went high tech using the Procreate app on my iPad with the Apple pencil in 🎨Creating iPad Art Sketches series🎨. Like all things new there was a learning curve and I felt a bit uncertain how I’d do but I took on the task at full speed. In this hodgepodge post, almost to the end, you’ll find direct links to each art sketch in the alphabet series

2017
This was my first year to entertain art sketch for my theme. In fact, I had no clue if I’d fail or succeed. I didn’t have a specific scheme other than to do pencil drawings. My theme became🖌Art Sketching Through the Alphabet🖌. You’ll find a list of all entries here at the bottom of the post.

2014
I decided to use 📸photography📸 for my theme in 2014 but my plans didn’t go purrfectly has hoped. Nonetheless, I completed the challenge for the first time. All of these posts are found in Unlike the Titanic, I stayed afloat on the A2Z Challenge.
