Tuesday Tunesation

Robyn #TT

Good morning Kittens and Dawgs!  Thanks to fellow blog pal, Mr. Shady, I have a new talent for ya.  This morning’s featured artist is a singer/songwriter from Sweden who rose to fame in the mid-90s with her debut album spawning two hits charting on the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 List with “Do You Know” and “Show Me” (listed below).  Please allow me to share the mewsical talent of Robyn!

In 2010, Robyn got her first Sweden #1 hit and 4th top 10 hit in the UK and US with “Dancing On My Own”!

From her Body Talk album, this electropop hit she portrays a woman asking her partner to break up with an old girlfriend while offering suggestions on how to do it gently.

This song positioned number one the US Hot Dance Club chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2012 for Best Dance Recording.

The last song spotlight is from Robyn’s 2014 mini-album (available on iTunes) and title cover song, “Do It Again” which peaked  #1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart, #2 on the Belgium weekly single chart, Ultratip, and #3 UK Independents Single Chart.

Thanks for making me a part of your morning and I hope you’ll share the mews of my new weekly meme with your lovelies with the below tweet or through other social media shares.

Yes, I am planning on doing the A-Z challenge. My theme may be a personal challenge to sketch something for each letter. I’ve gotten back into the groove of doodling after years of doing nothing and am feeling inspired to expand my boundaries. We’ll see how this plays out. I hope there’s no art critics doing the challenge. Lol
