Movie Time – We Are Marshall

TGIF!

Officially, our weekend began last night.  We had plans to drive to the mountains for the day, but we had to shift those plans until another time. DS and I weren’t feeling well.  Don’t worry, it’s nothing serious.  We’re dealing with pesky allergies.

Last night, we settled into the living room to watch, We Are Marshall.  If you’ve not seen it, then allow me to invite you to take a peek at the trailer below…

Don’t let this flick about football turn you off.  The story isn’t centered around the sport as much as it is a community, a school, its students, and facility rising above a horrible tragedy.

The first several moments into it, I was in tears.  The drama was powerful.  The story touched my heart deeply.  You’re going to love Matthew McConaughey, as Coach Jack Lengyel.  His role was inspiring.

You will cry in this movie, as well find moments to laugh.  The whole family will enjoy it. I’m delighted we finally got to see this heart-warming, true story about a college in my home state of West Virginia.  We are Marshall gets two thumbs from me!

What are your plans for the weekend?
