Christmas Music Marathon

Labor of Love

The first Christmas I had my big girl camera, I photographed the above large scale nativity scene at a neighboring church not far from our home as we passed by.  The only way to get the shot was with the car in motion, since there isn’t a place to pull off the road.  It was an epic fail but I got it nonetheless, so while DH & I were on vacation I got another chance to photograph the scene. This time around I did a bit better with the car in motion using my iPhone and with the help of Pixelmator Pro I made a few minor edits to spruce the image.  It’s a beautiful display and since today is Christmas, it’s works well for my daily song by Andrew Peterson Labor of Love.

The following photos were taken in Pigeon Forge at Christmas at The Inn.  It’s a beautiful hotel all year round but during the Christmas season it’s gorgeous. What I really loved most is how they keep Christ in Christmas with their wonderful decorations.

Next week, I want bring to you a few more photos of The Inn at Christmas Place and I’ll hope you’ll stop by to see what I share. I hope you and yours have a joyful day celebrating Christ’s birthday.
