Let’s give Mary from Jingle Jangle Jungle a round of applauds. 👏 She volunteered to be this month’s guest co-hostess. The theme this week is whatever music moves you!
Last year, we watched the entire Reality series Gene Simmons Family Jewels. I’m not a huge Kiss fan but I do like some of their music. It turned out to be a rather entertaining program. Gene has two kids and I wondered what became of them since the series ended in 2012. Did either his son or daughter follow in their dad’s music career? I found several random YT videos featuring Nick and came across a Bruce Kulick band album with Nick featured on a track and another track with Gene.
It’s Sophie’s recording that captured my ear. I loved the bubbly, feel good vibe and it’s really the perfect song since this is the month of chocolate and romance. Here’s Kiss Me by Sophie Simmons!
4M co-hostess are featured in my right side bar underneath the banner. The guidelines are simple. Every other week, a suggested (not mandatory) theme is given to build your song picks. YouTube and other music sites have options to create and embed playlists or individual songs into your post. On the off weeks, we dance to whatever music moves you (your choice)! To access the party, add your music post below, and visit others on the dance floor. Let the party begin!
DH is off for Presidents’ Day so I won’t be in Blogosphere until Tuesday morning. Have a boogietastic week! X💋X💋, Cathy

Family Jewels was such a fun show! 😀 I knew Nick was into music, but had no idea about Sophie. The song sounds familiar, though. I hope you and DH had a lovely long weekend!
Nick’s voice might be a little more of natural for a musical career but I love the innocents that Sophie brings to her songs and she has talent. The Family Jewels was a fun show. I hated when it ended. It would be fun if they did a reboot even if it’s just to catch fans up with what’s going on since the show’s conclusion. Thanks for telling me about it!
We didn’t know that serie, CK, but we knew Kiss. Granny says they were great, but she liked them more before they got famous with “I was made for loving you”. Nice voice of Sophie, we have to check out the boy, but we believe he has talent too, with such a father😺Hope you had a wonderful weekend, CK. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead🐾😽💞
I watched that series for a minute. I actually liked that song. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
You’re welcome and thanks for joining, Patrick!
I was never a KISS fan. I actually like this song, Kiss Me. It is in several movies. Have a good time with DH.
Sophie Simmons’s is a cover of Sixpence None The Richer, and I think she does it better.
John,
I didn’t know this was a cover. I listened to Sixpence None The Richer and I agree, Sophie does it better!
I wasn’t even aware of that reality series. 🙂 XO
I didn’t know about the reality series either until Debbie from The Doglady’s Den told me. 🙂
Apples usually don’t fall far from the trees.
I pray you have a blessed and beautiful time with your DH this long weekend!
Well, that was interesting. Different genre than her Dad, and there is nothing wrong with it. Her voice does lend herself to pop music. Alana ramblinwitham
We used to watch this show and found it better than expected. Both their kids seem to be good and sweet. I remember she tried out for the X factor..I think that singing show but she was cut soon after and I think that was unfair. I think she has a good voice. I felt bad for her
I didn’t know Sophie audition for X Factor until after we watched Family Jewels. She has a nice voice and while it would be cool if she pursued a career in music deep inside I wouldn’t want that kind of life for her.
Both Sophie and Nick’s music interests are different from dad Gene. Sophie the pop artist and Nick has a nice bluesy vibe.
That was really a good one. Enjoy the non-work DH time tomorrow!
Part of Monday was spent at my ENT but otherwise it was nice to have the extra free time with DH.
