It is day 10 of the A to Z Challenge. I spent entirely too long on today’s recreation getting more involved in trying to get everything perfect. I can’t afford to loose this kind of time on every illustration I do-over. I am fairly with the final results of my new design.
Instead of pointing you to the original post, I decided to include a side-by-side comparison as a before and after.
Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your day. I’m heading over to the A2Z headquarters to leave my calling card and maybe I’ll take notice to see who else came to the party but before I go I will leave you with another song that I had forgotten from the late 70s that works perfectly with my art by Raydio, “Jack and Jill”. 😉 This is CAAC signing off, I’ll be back tomorrow with the next letter in the alphabet!

Excellent sketch, Cathy, and I love the coloration! I love this song and remember it well. 😊
I love how you did that side by side! Nice colors now.
Great drawing!
Beautifully done!
The coloration adds so much! Nice job.

Hi, Cathy!
Happy Tickle Me Tuesday and J-Day, dear friend!
Please forgive me. I didn’t forget you. I lost half a day because I awoke to NO INTERNET! It has just now been restored, and you are my first stop of the day as I try to catch up. You said it best in your opening paragraph: “I can’t afford to loose this kind of time.” 🙂
Your Jack and Jill drawing is stunning now that you have bathed it In Living Color. To me, it appears as if Jill is running out of steam as she climbs the hill and Jack is helping to pull her up with him. I say that because Jack is leaning into it, toward the hill, while Jill appears to be rocking backward as if trying to maintain her balance. I would advise the pair to steer clear of Clingman Dome. Jill would be nothing but dead weight most of the way up that steep slope. 🙂 Your Jack & Jill is suitable for framing. It’s a keeper.
I well remember that smooth groove by Raydio. As you might know, that’s Ray Parker, Jr, who had a big hit with “Ghostbusters” as a solo artist.
Thank you for another very entertaining A to Z post, and thank you for visiting mine today. I am way behind and playing catch up now, and you know how that feels. I’ll be back to see your tomorrow for K-Day. Have a terrific Tuesday, dear friend Cathy!
I love your Jack and Jill. Beautiful. Love the video. That was one of my favorites back in the day.
Have a fabulous day, Cathy. Love and hugs. ♥
I love this delightful image you created. Jack looks determined and Jill looks like she is ready to sedu e Jack:). Have a great day
Beautiful…always brings a smile to my face. Hope you have a beautiful day friend.
Such a cute, cute couple!
Loved your art work and the music. As soon as I played it I recognised it. Those high voices and disco type sounds were so late seventies. I’m doing a blog on the ‘70s but so far am only up to 1972!
That’s a beautiful painting..draft and final both look grt
