It’s All About Baby

Angela and I would like to welcome you to Wayback Wednesday!

We’re doing things a little different. We’re canceling out a theme year per se with Wayback Wednesdays (WW). Instead, we’re featuring songs from way back, as in way back in my life or way back in your life. Wayback to any point, just as long as it’s way back. How far way back you wanna go depends entirely on you. There are no rules with WW, except to have fun going way back in time!

In 1961, God saw fit to give this old world a new baby. Me!

There was a lot of fine, groovy hits introduced that year. Many of them were a part of my early upbringing; singing along with or dancing to or just listening to. These catchy melodious, lyrical pieces of artwork are simply put – musical righteousness.

No doubt this first hit was written just for me. Ahem…well, maybe not. But, I can pretend anyway. Let’s tap into the 1961 groove, as you rock with this Baby Face!

I can imagine this song title might’ve spoken to my sweet mother, Take Good Care of My Baby

Perhaps, she even felt a bit of the Baby Blue syndrome but brushed it aside.

As she held her Angel Baby. 😉

I imagine my mom sung some of these very tunes when I was a little girl. Why she was still a little girl herself at only 16 years of age when I was born. I bet she listened to the radio while playing cleaning house dancing and singing as I do.  For more hits from 1961, check them out here!

Now, it’s time to look at others’ Wayback Wednesday flashbacks. Why not join the fun, simply create your own post and link up. It’s that easy! Wanna a return following or visit from us? Then, leave us a comment and we’ll do the favor in like kind.

Next up…Chats on the Farmhouse Porch 36 with Patrice. Please come back over to play along!
