Meet Me on Monday

Is It Monday Again?

Another weekend bites the dust and a new work week has kicked off.  For some, the weekend was shorter than we liked for it to be.  My DH worked Saturday making our time together spent not long enough. sigh At the same time, we are totally appreciative of his job.  The economy stinks and we’re blessed.  We are not complaining for the extra hours put in when we know all too well what it’s like to be unemployed.

My good friend, Amanda wrote an interesting blog post Writers Are Stalkers, which I wanted to share with you.  I absolutely love the way Amanda blogs with personality and style while sharing her experiences.  If you’re an inspiring author or even an established writer, then you may want to click over to Amanda’s blog to check this article out.

After you’ve read Amanda’s post, the why not join me in playing Meet Me On Monday blog hop.  Please leave your answers in my comment box.

This week’s questions are:
1. What are you wearing right now?  I’m not brave like Java. So, there will be NO posting of me early in the morning wearing my white Soffee sweatpants, pink polar fleece hoodie, and house slippers.  You’ll just have to leave this one up to your imagination.  Ooo, bad idea! Just pretend I look like Java only a little shorter and not so blonde. =D

2. Do you have any freckles? I did when I was young, but that’s because I was in the sun all day. I think freckles are adorable, though.

3. What is your favorite Lifesaver flavor?

I love them all really, but as a kid, I loved the butter rum, like Java.

4. What is the last movie you saw in the theater? You’ve gotta be kidding, right?  I mean the last time we went to the theater was in 1990 after our second child was born.  I’m not joking! That’s been 21 years ago and I’m totally clueless what we saw.

5. Would you rather live without tv or without music?Do I have to decide? I enjoy what few TV programs we watch a lot, but to be without music would be like living in a world without happiness. I guess I would say…..

If you’re one of the rare few happy Monday people, then don’t sweat it. I just thought the picture at the top too funny to not share.

@Heather…glad you liked the graphics. =D Oh pooh, your dh is away until Friday. Well, then there will be alot of smiles on both of your faces come the weekend, right? Bury yourself into your blog to keep from feeling lonely. Have a good week!

@Saimi…oh you know you’re rubbing it in girl! lol Being a SAHM I have this luxury every day, if I choose too. But, I’m a morning person and prefer to get my day going early. By the end of the day, I have no problem falling asleep when my head hits the pillow. I save sleeping in for the weekends. =D

I happen to love Mondays! While everyone gets up for work I get to sleep in…Yes, my work week is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday..gotta love it!

Not that I’m rubbing it in or anything.

@Donnie…It’s a miserable rainy day here, girl! We’re being pounded, streets flooded, thunderstorm rotation,…ugh, not a nice day. On the bright spot, we shouldn’t have a water deficit and things will be better tomorrow or so they say. =D

@EmptyNester…yep, one day melds into another pretty much. I still have one left at home, but my routine is set it seems for the most part. Thanks for stopping by!

I love your Mondays are evil graphic. I definitely feel that Mondays are evil, at least this Monday because I won’t see my husband until Friday night! 🙁

I’m off to check out Amanda’s Writers are Stalkers post, sounds fun!
