Saturday Songsuasion

Infernal

Good morning, kittens & dawgs! While visiting my good ole blogger pal, Mr. Shady from Shady Dell Music & Memories introduced me the purrfect mewsic with this morning’s featured artist.

Infernal – a modern-day disco band from Copenhagen Denmark with Lina Rafn (lead vocalist) and Paw Lagermann (singer/songwriter).  Infernal gained mainstream attention in 2004 with From Paris to Berlin. This is a great way to start the weekend with some get-to-your-feet mewsic!

What did you think of today’s mewsic? Is this a new-to-you group or did you know who they are? Are you a new fan of Infernal? You can keep up this incredible Danish group through one of these social media outlets…

They do have a way together. And she does remind me of someone with that voice.
Very nice to listen to something new Cathy.
    Thanks for sharing these.

    Have a blessed week! *HUGS*

I have heard their music – it sounded familiar as soon as I hit play – though I didn’t know the band name. It’s a bit too techno pop for me… unless I am in dancing mood and then for sure I would cue up one of their songs.

Hey Girlfriend, How’s goin? I’ve never heard of this gal, but she’s awesome! Thanks for sharing and the video is too cool. Have a rockin’ week.

How nice to get pictures of things you’ve seen! Modern day things can be pretty neat at times. Thanks for all of the giggles. For some reason, the Lemon really made me laugh. Must be one of those days. 🙂

Lee, Infernal does have a somewhat Abba feel to it but Abba is in a class of its own which I prefer to this new-to-me group. However, like you said they are pleasant enough to listen to and it’s a nice change from what’s playing these days. Thanks for popping in for a listen today!

    Hi, Cathy!

I’m not up this late… I’m up this early… and having Danish for breakfast – the Danish duo Infernal! 🙂 This is indeed a treat for me because, in my research for Thea’s Rave, I found “From Paris To Berlin” and “Self Control.” Your post fills in the gaps with several other great songs and distinctively European conceptual/performance videos. Infernal has a retro disco sound that I have come to appreciate this year. My favorites in this set are the first video, “I Won’t Be Crying,” and the last “Kiss the Sky” which remings me a little of Blondie’s hit “Atomic.”

Thank you very much for the early morning concert and for mentioning me on your blog. Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Cathy!

Tom, you did get up early this morning! I’m glad you enjoyed the Danish breakfast. lol I appreciate your introduction of this Euro group and I apologize for miss adding a link back to your site. I corrected that mistake, though. Thanks for popping in this morning. Have a songsational weekend, my friend!
