Tickle Me Tuesdays

I Make My Own Sunshine with mewsic and laughs

Did I blink? I’m pretty sure that I blinked because this is the last day of March. Good grief, can the days go any faster than this? Please don’t answer that question. I’m don’t want the hands of time speeding up any quicker than it already moves now.

Anyway, this month has not only disappeared but it’s been windy and rainy. Mr. Blue Skies only making an occasional appearance. Steven Tyler’s song “I Make My Own Sunshine” is what I had to do much of March to wort away the winter blues as a doodle, listen to  mewsic, and a whole lot of giggles. Let’s get your face ready for some grins with a bucket of laughter this morning with these random picks.

Yesterday I went to my doctor appointment to find out it had been canceled. I was so bummed about that.  I was like I called y’all last week to make sure everything was still on and was told yeah we’re open for now but never got a call telling me to not make the 25 minute drive.  I knew I should’ve called before I left and yet I didn’t. I should’ve listened to that little voice inside telling me to phone ahead. *smack forehead*

Okay, it’s time to grab a cup of coffee and follow along with me as I head off to visit Sandee for some Happy Tuesdays giggles at Comedy-Plus, then I’ll check out Random Tuesday Thoughts with Stacy Uncorked, and finishing things up by checking out this week’s word prompt found at Eugi’s Causerie for the wannabe poet buried inside.   That’s a wrap for now but come back tomorrow for Wild Wednesdays where just about anything goes! 😉

It would have been the proper and professional thing to do to call you. Our vet and my nail place sent texts letting me know our appointments are cancelled.

Smiling over here. Love seeing the happy things. Always grateful for blogging friends. Sorry about your appt. That has happened to me a time or two. But during these times I have received e messages from several providers we use so it makes it a little easier. I hope you get rescheduled soon. I also hope you have a wonderful week. HUGS across the miles.

      Anne,

Yeah, I got it rescheduled for later in April but there’s a slight possibility if the threat of this virus continues that it will get canceled again. I just want everything to go back to normal, but I kind of think that is going to take longer than any of us know. I guess I’ll need to chillax. At least my appointments aren’t medically necessary.

Pretty much everything is cancelled, at this point! Too bad you had to waste your time like that. They should have called you, but everything is in a state of confusion, these days. Steven Tyler has the right idea; we do need to make our own sunshine. 🙂 Hope you get some of the real stuff, soon. Rainy here today, but tomorrow looks promising. Loved the funnies! 😀

      Debbie,

I believe our forecast is calling for the sunshine to return on Thursday. It’s gonna be a cloudy but no rain today. I get the confused state everyone is in these days and I cut my doctor’s staff a lot of slack for the mistake. I should’ve listened to that little voice inside to call but unofficially I got to busy and brushed it off. Oh well, things will get better.

Love all the funnies. Made me chuckle. Sorry about your doctors appointment being cancelled without anyone saying anything to you. Bugger.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Love and hugs, my friend. Be well. ♥

      Binky,

We all need to just ride this mess out safely at home for now. I know by the time it’s over, we’ll all be ready to get out again. 😉

It was actually the doctor’s responsibility (or his office anyway) to let you know the appointment was canceled. I had a colonoscopy scheduled for the 18th, and fortunately they called to reschedule on the 16th, before I started the purge. I’d have been seriously upset if I did all the prep, showed up and been told it was called off…

I like the Peter Piper cartoon the best…

      John,

Oh yeah, that would be awful to do the purge process to find out, the procedure was canceled. I have two appointments set for the end of the month but when I tried getting one of them moved to the same day, the staff said they might need to reschedule those, too. They are playing it week by week. I will certainly call ahead at that time. I learned my lesson!
