Mary gave us a choose for this week’s theme and while no one likes break ups, especially the romantic type, you might find it interesting to know in 2015, I did a Breaking Up is Hard to Do mini series, part I, II, III, IV which was fun to do.

Our honorary co-hostess is dealing with daily cancer treatments which makes her sleep a lot.  She wants to play along but may not be able to follow through and that’s a.ok by me.  Her health is priority one, in my opinion and I know y’all not only understand but care for Mary’s well being, too.  Please say special prayers for her.  Thank you! 😘

    Perfect choice of song to dedicate to your DH! 🙂 My favourite love song is “Nights in White Satin” by the Moody Blues. When it comes to breakup songs, “Love Stinks” (J Geils Band) comes to mind. I love the comedic version Adam Sandler performed in The Wedding Singer. 😀 Have a good week!

    Healing energy going out to Mary. I can’t think of anything cuter than a calf. I am partial to cows so this made my morning. Great selection and a nice one for DH. I will remind you of FFO. LOL

    Baby anials can be some of the cutest creatures and this one is spot on! Like you, I chose to stay on the love song side of the equation because, like you, I have a lifelong parter that make my world complete. Have a very blessed week

      Having someone special to spend your life with deserves recognition and as you mentioned love isn’t just a feeling, it’s a commitment that takes work and dedication. When you walk side by side through the trials of life, you become closer, you love deeper, and you’re made stronger. I pray all couples strive to make it through the storms to sunnier days. With God’s help, like the 70s song goes “Love will keeps us together”. 🙂

    Awww… I just wanna smooch that cute little calf right on its snout!

    I have returned to CAAC for a second visit for one simple reason. I’m hopelessly devoted to you. 🙂 DH is a lucky hubby to have you as his lifelong companion and travel buddy, not to mention your considerable cooking skills. With Valentine’s Day approaching, it was nice of you to dedicate this ONJ song to him. i remember it well. Yessum, I will keep friend JJJ Mary in my prayers during these difficult times.

      Thanks for stopping by this morning. You’re so sweet! I’m hopelessly devoted to you and all of my lovely bloggy friends! Each one of you give me a special purpose in Blogosphere. 🙂

      I do count myself blessed to have such a devoted, loving husband. This June we’ll celebrate 45 years of marriage which seems unbelievable, not that we couldn’t do it but how fast the time went. The years really melt away like a chocolate bar.

      Thanks for the prayers for Mary and for being apart of my morning routine. Have a boogietastic week, my good friend!

    Awwww..you are blessed and so is your dh. Enjoyed today’s selection, and also the Neil Sedaka song in your “Part I”. .It’s kind of funny; I’m going be celebrating a major wedding anniversary in June but I chose mostly breakup songs for my post tomorrow. Alana ramblinwitham

      We’ve all had our share of break ups. It stands to reason that some of those tunes are stuck somewhere in our brain and bound to come forth on occasion. It’s wonderful you and yours have weathered the years. Love and dedication takes work! 🙂
