Hello Kittens and dawgs! I’m gonna keep today’s post short. It’s Sunday after all! 😉 My last BoTB showdown was lopsided big time, not at all like I expected. I figured one of the artists would carry more votes than the other but most of them? No, no, no! Did I do a poor job throwing BBC in the ring with the Shoo-Bop Girls?

Go ahead blame forgetfulness on menopause! lol I had a hysterectomy at 40 forcing the change early. Forgetfulness is horrible. Thankfully I’m on HRT pellets that keep me sane and less forgetful. BTW, you did vote for the Shoo-Bop Girls! 😉

I’m not surprised by this outcome. Those Shoo-Boppers are a delight and I’m glad you posted their performance of “In The Mood.” As I mentioned on the day of the battle, the other band was at a disadvantage in being heard but not seen. If you had been able to find a live performance clip of them doing “Apple Tree” I am sure they would have collected their share of the votes. They might even have won the contest.

It just dawned on me that I didn’t vote in my own battle. lol Well…it wouldn’t matter one way or the other. I enjoyed both groups. Each cover offers a different yet retro feel which I love!

Car, truck, and boat songs cover a lot of ground–and water. So many that immediately start coming to mind.
