Good-morning, kittens and dawgs! This is usually my off day for posting, but as you know last week Les from Ink Interrupted nominated me for the 3DQC and this is my last day.
Tuesday, I shared a music quote and yesterday I echoed words about doing your best at what you love. Today I want to hone in words that inspire me to be true to myself.
This is something I struggled with for many years. How I do I love myself when I didn’t like anything about me? All I kept thinking was I wasn’t pretty or smart enough. This kind of mind-set is mentally crippling.
It took years to see and to feel the person I am and not the fractured image exaggerated by poor self-esteem thanks to a very special person.
When I felt stupid, I was reminded…
When I felt unattractive, it was this kind of encouragement that made me feel beautiful….
When I felt timid about the unknown, my one-man pep rally challenged me to take it on…
Every accomplishment built a stronger, new me.
We all aren’t the same. I’m okay with the fact when God created me He broke the mold, as He did with each of us. So, when I’m feeling small and insignificant I remind myself…
I got to where I am because DH not only saw the real me, but helped me to reshape my opinion about myself with his gentle, loving prodding. I count myself lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life.
This ends my Three Day Quote Challenge, which brings me to my last nominee, Naila Moon. Feel free to accept or decline without repercussions, my friend! See sticky note for guidelines.
Please join me tomorrow for Skywatch Friday and Celebrate the Small Things.

Thanks for the nom. I will be sure to do this shortly.
Ok, dearie! Have a nice weekend!
Some interesting ideas to contemplate here. The lion quote puts me in mind of some of the guys who run our government.

This is SO important!!! Self love should be our first and lasting Love. Not in the EGO sense, not being self absorbed; but recognizing how special we are in that His hand lovingly and expertly shaped us. If we looked with His eyes more often, we would see what Love truly is.
You finished with a bang my friend!!! Awesome.
P.S And special mention to DH too for showing us how a Real Man loves! 🙂
Cathy, this is brilliant and beautiful! It is amazing how one person can make us feel like the most amazing individual as well as one of a kind!
I think your awesome and so glad we have connected as blogging buds!
