Christmas Edition: Santa’s helpers meme, Grumpy Cat’s Christmas carol, Rudolph’s vet visit, & Maxine
Another week is coming to an end and with that, I want to round things off with a little humor. I think that’s about I have to offer.
Ellen at 15andMeowing and Lorraine at Four-Legged Furballs share each Thursday four blank statements for us to copy and paste to create an entry for their Friday Friendly Fill-ins. Rounding things out this is how I filled in the blanks.
1. My favorite Christmas movie is National Lampoon Christmas Vacation. Who can’t use a good laugh? This year especially with moods downcast and a global pandemic.
2. This holiday season I will miss my baby brother like always. It’s been 16-years since JC passe but every holiday season starting with Thanksgiving my mind drifts to past childhood memories of my little brother.
3. I would like Santa to bring a cure for COVID. That’s a tall order for even Santa to fill. At best, a public vaccine being distributed. Even that won’t be sure fire solution but I think it’ll be a step in the right direction.
4. You might find nothing under my Christmas tree this year. There won’t be any presents beneath our tree. We’re having everything sent directly to our families this year. As for gifts to one another, we already got the others’ present which we’re enjoying early. I won’t tell ya want we got just yet. I’ll let it be a Christmas surprise for you. 🙂
Next week, we’re taking another staycation. This will be the last of DH’s vacation days this year to use, cash out, or lose. We’d rather do one of the two first options instead of the last but R&R time is a winner with us. That’s it for now. Have a funtastic Friday, dear friends! X💋X💋, Cathy
