#WW I think we’re going to be friends

DSC_4422 WW6-3-15

Today’s featured photograph was taken at Mount Mitchell State Park last month. This little feller flew down to see what I was doing. DH said, I think you have a new friend. I think he’s right…we’re going to be friends! 😉

Maybe, we can be, too! That is assuming we aren’t already.

Sending a round of applauds and cheers to this week’s featured photographer…

    Yes, a very cute friend. much cuter and sweeter I’d say than the lion! LOL
    that’s hilarious. can you imagine? I bet those National Geographic sorts have a lot of interesting stories to tell.

    Really cute photo. At first I thought you might play the song, “Why can’t we be friends?”

    Hopefully we are!!

      Dixie, Why Can’t We Be Friends came to mind, but I heard We’re Going To Be Friends recently and so it stuck. Oh, yeah…we’re DEFINITELY friends!! 😀 Thanks for stopping by. {{hugs}}

    Hi Cathy, Thank you for selecting me to be featured photography this week.

    Is that a blue jay in your picture? Pretty bird. I tried to get pictures of the tanagers and the grosbeaks that raid our orchard, but they fly away too quickly. They probably know that I don’t want them eating our green fruit.

      Danielle, I think it’s a Carolina Chickadee, but I’m not 100% sure. However, I’m pretty sure its from the Chickadee family, though. The only thing that puzzles me is this little guy looks like he’s wearing a mask kinda like cardinal, but obvious this little feller doesn’t belong to that bird clan or a bluejay. I wasn’t able to focus on him quick enough. I caught him out of the corner of my eye when I snapped my camera. Thanks for visiting!
