Wordless Wednesday

#WW: Come Worship the King

Seasons greetings, kittens & dawgs! What are your good tidings of great joy bubbling from your life this morning? I’m simply happy to be caught up in the spirit of the season. I love the magic of the holidays and thinking of the Christ child who came to this world more than 2000 years ago.

I took today’s photo contribution last Christmas downtown.

What a beautiful and festive photograph! I honestly couldn’t tell you if our city had its own Nativity scene. I know we have a few large Christmas trees and city-wide decorations 🙂

I wish we could still have Nativity’s sets out in the open, but I’m in California just next door to the town that got started the “No prayers at high school commencements.” No, no Nativities here. We wouldn’t want to offend anyone in our predominantly Christian nation.

That’s a nice photo, we have several in London I know there is one at Covent Garden and there is probably one in Hyde Park which is just a walk from me they have a big funfair in there every Christmas called Winter Wonderland.

Happy Birthday for Sunday Cathy …coughs @ age lmao I am 59 that will make you feel better LOL. 🙂

    Very nice photo.

I live in Northern California. No city would risked being sued by having a Nativity Scene. I think it is wrong but it is how they roll here. A couple of neighbors have them and I like them.

Oh Cathy , thank you for sharing. What a beautiful scene your town makes. No, we don’t have anything like that that I know of. We do have big huge letters on our bridge that crosses our bridge over the river that says, “Peace on Earth” though and all the light posts have evergreen garland and a wreath which is nice, but the Nativity Scene that’s important. I have one lighted one in my front yard with a big star behind it. I thought you said you put my button on your page? It’s okay though. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs!

Under my Blog Hop Tab, you’ll find sub-menus one of which is for Photography memes. That’s where you’ll find your button. I decided I like the appearance of a simple Wordless Wednesday page link, instead of dozens of buttons in my post at the bottom as I use to do. Hopefully for the curious blog hoppers, they are checking out that link. 😀 Thanks for the visit, my friend!

As far as I know, there is no nativity scenes in our city, though the main street and the city hall are decorated with lights.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful photo.

Downtown Knoxville is always beautifully decorated with wreaths, bows, a ginormous tree, and strands of lights everywhere. It’s a fabulous drive by sight or a quaint spot to stroll with a cup of hot chocolate.

beautiful nativity setting! I have no idea if my town has one — I mean other than the one my own church does. My original hometown had a farm that did a LIVE Nativity every year – now that is fantastic thing to witness. Yeah me for being Featured today – Thank you! 🙂
