Friday Fill-ins

Warning: Use Google Chrome or Else NO Blogger!

Warning!!!! Blogger or maybe it’s simply Google, but anyhow Internet Explorer NO longer works. We are now FORCED to use Google Chrome. However, it appears for now Firefox works. I was 100% through with my post when I discovered my updates wouldn’t save. Bad change, bad change on Google’s part!!! I’m not happy with this, are you?

It’s Friday, and I’m going to push forward to have fun. That being said, it’s time to link up with Hilary for some Friday fun.

Every week four blank statements are available to grab, fill-in, and to share in a blog post to participate in 4F.

Should you have a few of your own fill-ins you would like to share, then email Hilary at  feelingbeachie@gmail.com. If she decides to use yours, then Hilary will add you as co-host to the hop!

This week’s co-host is Megan from Monday Morning Musings.  She came up with the last two statements.

Hilary REALLY needs more co-hosts, so show your creativity and shoot some fill-ins here way!

We can spread some LOVE, by sharing this hop – Tweet, Facebook and blog linky code. Proudly display Hilary’s meme badge on your blog for others to spot, too, like I did here at the beginning of my post, as well as at the bottom of blog.

This week’s statements:

1.       I can’t stand when people say ____
2.       If you are going to __ please___
3.       Call me a _____ because ______
4.       If I had a dollar for every time I heard ______, I swear I’d be a millionaire by now.

 My fill-in responses:

1.  I can’t stand when people say OMG! Really! My parents taught me to not use the Lord’s name in vain, and I haven’t dishonored them or God since I was a youngster.
2.  If you are going to going to use obscene language, then   please kindly refrain from speaking this way around me. It’s quite offensive.

3.  Call me a insane, weird, or old-fashion. I don’t care because the simple truth is this is how I am,and I don’t feel the need to conform or lower my standards just so I can sound like most other people.

4.   If I had a dollar for every time I heard OMG, I swear promise I’d be a millionaire by now.

Before you begin hopping from blog-to-blog, simply add your Follow Friday Four Fill-In Fun URL address below and have fun!

This weekend is starting, and I hope you have fun chillin, but I want to invite you back to MY place for Monday’s Music Moves MeI am now a permanent co-host. Whoo-hoo!

Next week’s theme is songs from other countries with one exception as Hawaii is included in the mix. So, put those blue suede shoes on and boogie with me to rock start a new week together!

Internet Explorer always seems everything was too big & I always use Firefox anyway. I like it. Although I do use Google Chrome when I’m on my laptop. To each his own I guess.

Hey Cathy! I have not used IE in years LOL! Love FF and so far so good, esp love the add-ons on FF like colorful tabs, which is my fave! 🙂

Hi Cathy, just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

I swear, all these techy places are just having a field day changing this and changing that…Seriously, why can’t SOMEONE just keep something the SAME for once?!

You’re going to need a manual for all these changes soon o.O

  • Hilary

I use IE and haven’t had any problems… Techlogoy is great, when it works for you… I am guilty of over using OMG – Sorry!

  • RoryBore

I use Firefox, so hopefully I will still be able to see you. but i noticed that my posts no longer schedule.

I also grew up that you didn’t take God’s name in vain…but unfortunately every other curse was deemed ok. I can really have a sailor/trucker mouth if I choose to. I try not to, but sometimes they pop out. It’s hard when you grew up hearing it all the time – and then I heard it sooo much working in a prison — you get used to it. but I certainly don’t want my kids running around talking like that, so mama has to zip it sometimes!

Thanks for the heads-up on IE and Blogger. I haven’t tried to post anything yet today so I’ll have to check.
I really hate Google Chrome, but what’s a girl to do?
As for M4, WE are the lucky ones to have you as a cohost with us. You are always there to post great songs and to comment on all the other players. YOU are such an amazing woman and we’re glad to have you on board the train.
    HUGGLES!!! <3

I’ve been having readers complain that their comments are not posting, I wonder whether it’s related to the Google/Chrome thing(one of them I know for certain is a Mac user).

I just read somewhere that Google Friends is being shut down soon. Keeping up with all these big companies buying each other and changing the rules on us is enough to drive us crazy, right?

    Following you 🙂

Love your answers…. AND I haven’t been able to use IE on my blogger sites for months and months…. have been using Firefox for a very long time!

  • JamericanSpice

That is not smart move for google. This brand thing is just annoying.

I agree with you on the omg.

I remember when I first heard it I cringed. Then I remembered when I first tested it out and it felt so foreign. I need to get back there.

    Aloha

I stopped using Internet Explorer a couple of years ago when it would spell check like Mozilla Firefox and Chrome do. I use Chrome for most things now, but do have certain things that have to be done in Firefox so I use that occasionally.

  • Rochelle@AFamilyofLooneys

I can’t stand it when people say that either. It really is so offensive.
I use Firefox and I have really liked it. Hope you have a good weekend. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I like making new blog friends.

  • Saimi

I’ve always used Firefox when blogging for some reason I like it better. Because of this I don’t even know what Google Chrome is.

  • Beth Ann

OMG!!! I am so with you on that one!!! Seriously, I am. I hate to hear it and was raised like you in that respect!!! I saw a common theme in your answers today!! 🙂 Happy Friday!
