Wild Wednesdays

Turnaround

On this particular day, we were west of the city in Lenior City looking at a potential house.

In this spot, we turned the car around to go back to the property. I loved how the wood fence lined driveway took my eyes straight to the beautiful shades of fall with the changing leaves. Nice, right?  Unfortunately the house in question failed our outside expection but the day wasn’t a bust. I got this picture! 😉

That wraps things up but hopefully if inspiration strikes then you might find me back here tomorrow with an art contribution with Thursday Art Date with Rain

Thanks for joining me today and may you have a blessed day!

That’s an amazing view that you captured even despite that slight hint of disappointment that the house didn’t quite work out as you’d have hoped for, but you know what, in the grand scheme of things, there’s something better waiting for you out there that will come in good time. I can completely agree to how we start looking at things differently as we mature. That’s wisdom kicking in at the right time and letting us go for what is truly best. Good luck with the house-hunting. Thank you so much, dear Cathy, for linking up with us this week.

Such a beautiful place, it’s a shame that the house didn’t work out. You’ll find a place. My family bought a place about 100 miles south of Lenoir City this summer, but houses here were selling like crazy. A few places sold before we made up our minds to buy.

That’s a lovely fall scene, Cathy. 🍂 Too bad the house didn’t suit. Here’s hoping you find your dream home, soon. Thanks for hosting this link party. I’m late, but added the latest chapter from my WIP. Cheers!

      Natasha,

Absolutely! God has something marvelous waiting for us. We just have to see beyond our limited thinking to know that He has our destiny mapped out. It looks like your URL got added already. I was experiencing some issues yesterday with my site, so that might have caused some trouble. I apologize for the inconvenience and am happy you linked up!

      Brian,

You’re right, we’ll know it’s the right house when we see it. I know God has a plan for us. We just have to be patient to wait for it to unfold before our eyes.

Your Thursday post sounds intriguing, will have to check that out. Oh man, my cousins have had the hardest time finding a house although sold there’s right away. Good luck to you and Happy Wednesday.

You have to look at a lot of houses before you find your new home. I so remember. What a great shot. Love that fence too.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Love and hugs. ♥

The fence does make great leading lines to the colorful tree. Nice find. Finding a house is a pain in the behind. They so often don’t end up being what you expect.

That’s the reason it’s taking us so long to find the ‘right house’ because, at this stage in the game, this will be our second and last home purchase. We know what we want and when we don’t see it in the perspective property then we mark off the list then move to the next target. When you’re in your 20s or 30s, you don’t think about a home with a steep drive or uneven yard or tons of steps to go up & down daily but when you’re in your late 50s and early 60s you do think of those things. I don’t mind having stairs in the home just as long as that’s not part of our living area that we ‘have’ to be in often. We would like a basement for the added storage or even an upper level with guest bedrooms just as long as the main level is plenty roomy enough to accommodate our needs. Oh yeah, we definitely want an attached 2-3 car garage. I’m so tired of having to unload the car in cold or rainy conditions. 🙂

      Alana,

Our foliage still lingers, oddly there’s more green hanging on than I think should but it’ll all get blown away over the next few weeks. Yep, fall is over for many. For us, the temps are normal for this time of year. This is doable for now. It’s when the nightly lows drop below freezing that sets my teeth on edge. Thanks for joining me this morning, my friend. Have a good day!

Thank you, Shiju! We’ve looked at so many homes that I don’t let myself get too excited because there is usually something wrong with everyone we look at but in time we’ll find the right one. 🙂

      Valerie,

Thanks! The house was not only old and in need of a lot of repairs, but the home is also located on a very street which makes it difficult to turn into the driveway without fear of someone rear-ending you. We’ll find the right place eventually. 😉

    I love this view, CK, it’s a wonderful world, isn’t it😸Pawkisses for a Happy Day🐾😽💞

Ps Do you mean that we can post our bloggie too in your linky? It’s kind of turnaround too 😉

      Binky,

Of course, you can link your blog to my linky party. Today is open to any and all, just as long as it’s suitable content. 🙂 I know that won’t be a problem for you, though. Thanks for visiting me and yeah, I didn’t think about it but my link-up is a turnaround, too. You’re so clever! BTW, I added your link to the party. 😉
