I’ll be in East Tennessee next week. Can you please turn down the thermostat before I get there? Not looking forward the hot humid weather, but am looking forward to being around family.

Tossing It Out
I’ll see what I can do, but I won’t make any promises. lol Actually, our forecast next week is looking a bit cooler with temps in the low to mid 80s. That’s better than these 90° temps. Enjoy your visit to East Tennessee!
Ah Sammy!! I wanted to include him and Blue Eyes and the gang in my post too — but it easily could have been the longest post in Blogger history!! LOL It was really hard just picking 3 artists. Love this song.
Oh, I know what you mean. I really got lucky with my pick, since I’m taking a hiatus. I didn’t know what the theme was, but Sammy Davis, Jr definitely falls into the legend category as does Frank Sinatra.
90s all week here too! Perfect song for us too! Just too darn hot!
Happy Summer Cathy!
Excellent legend choice, Cathy! 🙂 Have a great week! 🙂
Walk This Way because I Can’t Dance in my Blue Suede Shoes with Jack & Diane
So, glad you liked! 😀
Definitely a “Big Legend”. Love the song pic too it’s definitely too darn hot! I’m melting… Girl.. how’s your hiatus going? I keep you in just in case. You’re duh best hehehe! Please advertise our 200th wk. anniversary with our button located in my side bar. Please post it in your side bar too! Thanks. I shall discover be sending out e-mails with regards to our big day soon. Thanks.
My little blog break is nice. It’s nice just to take it slow & easy when it comes to visiting and responding. I may want to consider keeping this pace. I certainly rethinking how I plan to handle blogging from here on. I put up our 200th week anniversary button, like you requested and made it a click-able badge to redirect the curious to your site. It’s gonna be loads of fun!
Sammie is without a doubt legendary! <3 this!
That’s an old classic. Love it! Sammy was so smoooooth. 🙂
Yes, Sammy was smooth! I would love to see new talent emerge more like the classic sounds, wouldn’t you? Thanks for dancing with me! Have a tunetastic week, Debbie!
I do love Michael Buble’, et al. 🙂 Even wrote a Music Monday post:

I absolutely loved that haven’t heard it in years 😉
Have a hottastic week 😉
This was the first time hearing Too Darn Hot, but I always liked Sammy Davis, Jr. Those old singers were so multi-talented performers.
Sammy Davis, Jr.’s “Too Darn Hot” made me wish there was an actual video of him singing and dancing to this tune he was so talented. Thanks for getting me movin’ this Monday and I enjoyed every minute of it. I hope you have a great week!
A video with Sammy Davis, Jr singing Too Darn Hot would be great, but you just can’t find too many of those with these older performers. I love all the talent from the artists from yesteryears! We sure can use some of that today.
