Temptation Eyes BoTB Results
In last week’s Temptation Eyes BoTB showdown, I put three cover artist on center stage for you to consider and to vote on. No counting mishaps or lost ballots to report. The majority’s voice spoke giving victory to THE WILLOUGHBY BROTHERS!

I think these fellas are really good. It would be awesome to see them take their act on the road if they haven’t already. They are an excellent cover band. You can follow these guys by subscribing to Russ Willoughby’s YT channel.
Let me point out, so you won’t be confused like I was temporarily, while snooping around YouTube looking for a song to share, I discovered another Willoughby Brothers band from Ireland. Even in the wee hours, I soon realized this band wasn’t the same one I use in the BoTB. but gee, what are the odds of this? Pretty wild, huh?

The Willoughby Brothers are, apparently, one guy named “Willoughby” (sometimes with his hat on, and sometimes with his hat off). Unless all three bros are triplets, then it’s just one guy. And I thought that same thing during the original ‘Temptation Eyes’ Battle – one guy playing multiple instruments!!!
Yeah, the Willoughby Brothers are brothers just like covid-19 is a very real and very dangerous virus.
Drink more coffee, Peoples! DRINK MORE COFFEE!! (And get that MASK off your face while you’re drinking it!!!)

I like your graphic showing the original Grass Roots Dunhill 45 rpm record label. Thanks for reporting the results of your latest BOTB. I am pleasantly surprised to learn that the guys I voted for,The Willoughbys, held their lead throughout the voting period and that it didn’t evaporate in the final hours. In fact they wound up winning the battle by a comfortable margin. I really like their cover of “Ebony Eyes,” At first I thought it was going to be the John Loudermilk song made famous by the Everly Brothers, but it turned out to be the song penned and recorded by Bob Welch, a former member of Fleetwood Mac. Juice Newton sang backup on Welsh’s 1978 hit recording.
