Saturday Song-suasion 58: The Platters
In case you haven’t read, I’m taking a break this month. Although I unplugged myself from the world beyond my computer, I did think beforehand about my lovelies and threw together a whole month of music for your enjoyment.
Reminded recently of a group I enjoyed from my childhood, I thought I’d share this 60s great band with you, The Platters!
The Platters came together as a group in 1952. I was born nearly a decade later in ’61 and in the mid-to-late 60s, I recall listening to The Platters on my auntie’s recorder player. Let’s revisit some of the greatest hits by The Platters with this marvelous playlist.

I think I remember listening to them in the past! My mom was born in 1960 so she’d probably have grown up with them, too 🙂 Good for you taking a break and unplugging!
