It’s the weekend, so I’m sorta MIA in Blogosphere but not wishing to miss out on the second annual Roctober Mewsic Festival hosted by Mary from Jingle Jangle Jungle I decided to find some classic 70s mewsic to rock the weekend with Steely Dan, Can’t Buy A Thrill (1972) album with his #6 single, Do It Again!
Playlist borrowed from YT channel, Steely Dan. Song titles in track order: Do It Again, Dirty Work, Kings, Midnite Cruiser, Only A Fool Would Say That, Reelin’ In The Years, Fire In The Hole, Brooklyn (Owes The Charmer Under Me), Change Of The Guard, & Turn That Heartbeat Over Again.
Join me tomorrow with your choice song picks on Monday’s Mewsic Moves Me on Sunday and another trek back in time with another edition of Rocktober Mewsic Fest!

Steely Dan sure brings back a lot of memories. Good tunes! Thanks for the playlist.
Cool song, happy weekend ❣
Have been a fan of Steely Dan since they first came on the music scene. Some of the best music of the rock era.

Tossing It Out
Great songs. We’ve seen them a couple of times. Wonder what will happen now that Walter is gone.
One of my favorites. I still find myself singing to them whenever they’re one.
One of my favorite bands, particularly on “Aja” and “Gaucho.” The early stuff is more rock than jazz, but they throw a lot of jazz harmonies in there.
We never listened to them much but we might now!
