Not Just Any Mermaid Girl, She’s My LA
Today is the last day of the month. I hardly believe it went by as fast as a snap of the finger but it did. Rain’s Garden is rounding out Mythical March with Mermaids and Sea Creatures. Sea creatures make me think of scary things. Mermaids have been portrayed that way as well but I rather think of them as being more like Aerial and so using my granddaughter’s cuteness I illustrated, My LA the Mermaid.
This mermaid is obviously a young child but not as young as my LA. However with the passage of time moving like the speed of light, it won’t be no time before she more closely resembles my sketch. *sob-sob*
The first of April rolls in tomorrow. I have two separate posts scheduled, a James Bond theme song BOTB and the first installment in my Pencil Sketch Inspired Procreate Recreation art series for the A to Z Challenge. It’s gonna be wild time for sure and I hope you’ll stick around to join the fun.

I just listened to the Celtic music sending mermaid vibes. Your mermaid is so very pretty just like your granddaughter, I bet. You created a really nice drawing and nothing sinister by a long shot.

Happy Thankful Thursday Art Date with Rain, dear friend! I hope you’re having a good week. There’s excitement in the air. The horses are entering the starting gate and the A to Z Challenge is about to begin!
Yessum, we Marched toward spring at a rapid pace, didn’t we? Before we know it, we’ll be saying goodbye to 2022. Until then, we will celebrate life and make every minute count. I adore and wanna smooch Princess LA the Mermaid! Hands down, that’s the prettiest mermaid scene you have ever put on display. It’s so good that I might ask your permission to use it some day on my blog. Yessum, turn around and one day you’ll realize that your LA has grown up enough to fit the age range of the mermaiden in your series illustrations. I enjoyed the magical celtic mermaid mewsic. As I listened, I could imagine the mermaids doing their graceful underwater dance. If you are ever down this way, you should visit The Mermaids of Weeki Wachee, an attraction that has been enchanting guests from all over the country for the past six decades. I’m sure your LA would love it.
I will make a note to look for two CAAC posts tomorrow. Of course, I will be publishing my annual April Fools’ Day feature as well, so it will be a busy day for us all.
