Friday Sillies

New Year’s & other random bits of giggles

This is DH’s off-Friday and for those who aren’t a regular on CAAC this means I’m MIA in Blogosphere today and all weekend but that doesn’t stop me with sharing some laughs with you.

It’s time to de-stress, kiddies!

The above song parody by a San Fransisco Bay blogger, Devo Dalporto, is cleverly written filled with lots of now funny-to-me truths and make me soooo happy that those early days of parenthood are now far, far behind me.

Do you like mewsic? Do you like to boogie? If you said yes to either, then you’re invited to be my guest at the best dance party in Cyberville with the first theme for  the new year submitted by January’s honorary co-hostess, Musings & Merriment with MichelleNEW BEGINNINGS‘ spinning on the turntable right here on Monday’s Mewsic Moves Me.

I liked that last cartoon. I saw a great list of resolutions on Twitter, and now I can’t remember what they were.

Bwahahahahahahaha. We’re on the same page as usual.

Loved the video. I can so relate.

Have a fabulous day and weekend, my friend. Love and hugs. ♥

I’ve never been one for making resolutions. If I did it would be something like one of your funnies about it. Just keep going and try to stay calm is my mantra of life.

    Hi, Cathy!

I enjoyed your Friday Sillies, dear friend! The sleepy kitty perched on the seat of the exercycle is a funny one. I can imagine what goes through patients’ minds when they approach the office of “psycho the rapist” instead of the psychotherapist. 🙂 The “Auld Lang Syne” parody was clever. I like how they changed the word candy to “can-day” to make it rhyme. I can relate to her claim that she hasn’t seen midnight in years and goes to bed at 9:30 on New Year’s eve. Staying up late to watch the ball drop at The Times Square used to be important to me, a tradition. A few years ago I started getting up earlier in the morning, 4 or 5 am every day, and ever since it’s early to bed for me. I don’t regret the change and don’t miss late night happenings like ringing in the new year at midnight.

It’s good to see those dancing Brit birds on Top Of The Pops and the pin-up beauty at the top of the post. Thanks for the morning smiles and have a safe and happy weekend with DH, dear friend Cathy!
