Meet Me On Monday – Christmas Dinner to Facebook
It’s a start of a new week and once again, it’s time to play Meet Me On Monday hosted by our lovely Java.
Here are her questions for this Monday:
1. What will your Christmas dinner consist of? Christmas dinner is almost an exact copy to Thanksgiving. I try to keep our festive relatively traditional and it’s a real joy to make holiday meals. It really gives me a warm, happy sense. I suppose it’s knowing I’m making dinner for those I love at such a wonderful time of the year, the season of giving, and isn’t preparing a large meal an act of giving? I think it is. My meal consists of: turkey, ham, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, gravy, cranberry compote, dressing, biscuits, and black walnut cake.
2. Do you watch commercials or flip through the channels? 
Commercials? We watch the ones we really enjoy like the Geico commercials. We especially like the spots with the little gecko. These are usually pretty funny.
3. How long will you leave your Christmas decorations up? Christmas decorations will be left up until mid-January or even later. It’s so hard to really enjoy what I put out in December with all the craziness. There seems little time to relax and just to soak up the ambiance. After the Christmas hurriedness passes, then I enjoy the decorations all the more.
4. What movie makes you cry every time you watch it? It’s a Wonderful Life makes me cry every time. I love that movie!
