Plans That Go Astray

How is it, you plan for your week to go one way and instead it goes another? Hmm, well that’s how this week has turned out for me. One bright spot, I got my manuscript from my editor last night. I was happy to see her editorial suggestions were few. I will re-read it again today to decide what I want to do before kicking it back to her.

My hunt for an illustrator is still on. My second art student sent her work to me last night. (BTW, thank you Audrey for telling me about her.)  She does very good portraits. However, she seems concerned about not having time to do the project for me, that is if I decide to use her.  I certainly appreciate her being upfront.  I have two more artists to consider, one does wonderful with real-life children drawings and the other is an art teacher I’m waiting yet to contact me. This is a slower process than I imagined it being, but a great learning experience all the same.

In the midst of juggling things with my writing, I have things to do around here. My maid & cook fairies don’t seem to be doing the work, so I’m left to do their jobs. On that note, let me get cranking today. Have a good day! 😉
