  1. Nice choice. I am sitting tomorrow out, but I plan to do Christmas music every week for December.

    1. Ellen,

No worries, my friend. I think it’s going to be difficult for many to join the 4M gang on the dance floor after a hectic holiday weekend. I know I’m going to be swamped this week but I can listen to mewsic while I do my chores, right? 🙂 Thanks for visiting and have a furtastic week!

    1. Sandee,

I’m happy to boogie to whatever anyone wants to share but ‘your choice song picks’ is a great way to let your hair down with whatever floats your boat. 🙂

  2. I may not pick rockin’ songs but I pick one close to my heart and some might be more on the classical side. My mom has been on my mind, ma6be it is because Christmas is coming and she loved Christmas and made it a cherished holiday that one only sees in movies. Anyway here are some of my picks…Elizabethan Serenade which I remember listening to it while colouring, daddy reading the newspaper and my mom making dinner. I Dreamed a Dream from Les Mis done by Andre Rieu. It came on the classical station on Thursday and I started to cry since we had this at her funeral. The Third Man Theme by Anton Karas which I love. Fernando by ABBA which I love and my mom did too. I Have A Dream also by ABBA and The Impossible Dream from The Man From La Mancha sung by Richard Kiley…amazing. So there are my few songs:)

    1. Birgit,

My mewsic choices are often all over the place. I wasn’t familiar with Elizabethan Serenad so I checked it out on YT. It’s very pretty. The violin cover of ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ is also a beautiful. Ah, I know you miss your mother. Mewsic really can spring forth those tears. I caught my breath on Thanksgiving while I held my little granddaughter while singing ‘Jesus Loves Me’ to her as I choked back a tear of yesteryear when I sang to DD#1. Time really is fleeting. The past 30-years went like a snap! The ABBA song titles I know as well as ‘The Impossible Dream’. You are indeed in a melancholic mood. I hope your spirits are lifted more today.

  3. Hi, Cathy!

Although I still have family responsibilities today and into the coming week, I am finally ready to return to active blogging. I will be sure to drop in to see you here tomorrow and I will be resuming my regular blogging schedule with a music post of my own. Thank you for your support during my bereavement. “You are good to me.” You always have been, and I am thankful this week and every week to have you as a friend.

    See you tomorrow, dear Cathy!

    1. Tom,

I’m glad to know that you’re back to regular blogging again. I know it’s been a trying time for you and Mrs. Shady with the passing of her sister. Death is never easy and the holidays seem to complicate the loss even more. There’s so much sadness touching many lives that I know and breaks my heart but I know the One I love the most is in charge of all things. I pray that each person finds comfort in the Master in their circumstances. I know that’s through God that I find strength and peace with the things that trouble my mind at the moment. I have to remind myself these things are out of my hands and it’s best to leave it all to Him. It’s easier said than done but when I do turn it all over then as I said that it’s through God I find peace of mind. Thanks for stopping by, dear friend. You’re ever in my prayers and thoughts always.
