Before I kick off things off this week,  let me offer my condolences to Glitterbabe in the passing of her husband this past Friday and Hairbows and Guitar Picks in the loss of her sister over the weekend.  As these precious souls pass from this life to the next, let’s remember those who are left behind to pick up the pieces.

My prayers and thoughts go out to you, as your hearts travel the long road of healing. God bless!

Children…the bus is coming! What do the wheels on the bus do?

Welcome Back Knotter…if only school was half as funny as what the Sweathogs made classroom going ons look like then it wouldn’t have been so bad.

Who remember PTA meetings? Here’s Jeannie C. Riley singing, Harper Valley P.T.A!

Whoo-hoo, what a jammin’ smokin’ party of fun!  Are you ready to rock this week off to a good start? Then, climb aboard by linking your 4M blog post below and join the party by visiting as many of those on board the Love Train.

Have a marvelous Monday!

Awesome back to school picks, mama!  Perfect for a back to school theme.  My goodness, I couldn’t tell you when I last heard Welcome Back, Kotter.  My girls go back to school next week.  I’m not ready to send them yet. 🙁

@4e357aadf13a1a433180bb9004646a93 Chuck Berry is a favorite from past generations and generations to come. A true rockin’ n’ roll classic!

@5966e239c162078f3008f4acc22870f6 I committed Psalm 23 to heart when I was younger, too. It has always given me such comfort.  I guess this is why God has instructed us to hide His word in our heart.  I wish I had memorized more verses as a kid.

@Lucy When I was a little girl, Jeannie C Riley walked into a radio station I was at with my folks and I’ll never forget how exciting that was. I was too nervous to ask her for her autograph.

@selfsagacity:disqus Wow, I hadn’t realized this selection was going to be such a sensation amongst my blogger buddies! It really does bring back lots of memories, though. =D

@5d5db90e4f23b4bc2070aa7dc7a8afdd Dah-dah…do you think? lol At least you can say you can by your craziness through many years of loving fun.  I love thinking about our children singing. Small voices are so precious!

Olivia Blue Music There are a lot of cool songs out there, especially from 70s & 80s! What’s being made today isn’t as good most times.  The talent has slipped away from the new generation.

@openid-27114:disqus It’s so hard thinking about the kiddos venturing off to school.  I’m happy we have been able to home school from the start.  This will be our last year, though, as our son will be a senior. Can you believe that? Not me!

  • cathykennedy

Don’t remind Princess Nagger then! lol I remember hating those little reminders, as a kid.  I can’t believe how quickly the summer has ripped by, but honestly I’m glad fall is coming. =D

@2a0105a5241abce19138c347d14842f3:disqus Anytime I get stuck on music selections, I just google possibilities. I’d like to take full credit for my genius, but most of it’s due to the endless resources at my fingertip with a simple click. It was so nice to have you visit!

That Chuck Berry song is probably my favorite! Hehe.

The wheels on the bus…I’m certain with four kids, I’ve listened to that song more than any other person on earth! Which probably accounts for that crazy look I have in my eye…

  • Olivia Blue Music

Oh boy…. “Smokin’ in the Boy’s Room….”  What a blast from the past!  Great choices….. Hope you have a week full of blessings….. 🙂 Olivia

These were great!! But, first, so sad for the losses of the loved ones and the Psalm was beautiful.
I loved the show Welcome Back Kotter!  Oh, and then Chuck Berry and Harper Valley PTA, I haven’t listened to those in forever!  Just Great songs today!!

I like Remember the days of the old school… Psalm 23 is my favorite psalm. I remember memorizing it by heart when I was kid, and then reading a verse of it at my father’s funeral. Thanks for featuring that.
