I love 80s Music!
What’s this? I’m featured in the Spotlight Dance on Monday’s Music Moves Me. Whoo-Hoo! Thanks a bunch for shining your favor on me oh excellent hostess! =D This is such a privilege. It’s time to get this Rockin Monday party on the road! Today’s music theme is “Freebie Style” – your pick of anything that moves you this Monday morning.
If you’ve followed my blog, then you know I’m a Celebrity Apprentice fan. Last week and last night’s finale, I was introduced to two groups from the 80s who took part in the assigned tasks. Two music sensations which I only knew more by name than anything because I was not into heavy metal or musicians who were rather…ehem weird looking. After seeing these relatively new oldies perform, I was like, “WOW, they sure can sing!” Today’s musicians simply don’t measure up to these oldie groups. Even, if I didn’t like them then, I sure do have a greater appreciation for them today. With that said, let’s jam to some Def Leppard!

Yeah, I know noticed the world didn’t come to an end. What’s with that? I mean, someone has been predicting the end of time ever since I can remember. Like my DH said, maybe one day one of these guys will get right. After all, your odds are more in your favor as time goes by. But, those of us who are believers in Christ know that no man knowthn the hour of the Lord’s return. I wonder why these guys keep doing it? It must be an attention thing. Oh well…thanks for stopping by!

I agree. Today’s musicians can’t hold a candle to yesteryear’s. They had talent and they actually had to sing and show that they could write their songs.
Now these are fun to turn the radio up loud on a Monday!
