Monday's Music Moves Me

Here’s to the Heroes #VeteransDay

Good-morning, kittens and dawgs. I want to send out my personal thanks to all who serve(d) in the armed forces insuring my family and this country’s freedom. This song is for you, Here’s to the Heroes!

You’ll always be A Hero In My Eyes!

This song was written and performed by James Dupre after attending his brother’s basic training graduation.

I give thanks to the heroes blessed to return Home Free.

Mason Douglas wrote this song in tribute to his very patriotic and proud dad who served in the Air Force for 22 years and flew in the Vietnam war. Three of my uncles fought in the same conflict were also blessed to return home safely.

Unfortunately, the ugly truth of war is that some heroes do not come home the way I want. For those, I say a special prayer for the family.  I know there aren’t enough words to express the gratitude I have for the heroes we honor today. Let’s  Honor the Fallen.  Sally Mudd wrote and recorded this song for those who paid the greatest price by giving their lives for this nation. God bless the fallen heroes!

Thanks for the dance. Let’s keep the party going, link up and join the fun with the Monday’s Music Moves Me crew and if you want to find out which artist won my November 1st BoTB, then click here!
