Healing Begins #TenthAveNorth

Enjoying life around me gives me great happiness. One of the places that does this in the Smoky Mountains.  The above picture I took at the Apple Barn & Cider Mill in Pigeon Forge one fall day several  years ago. The old fashion ice cream churn makes my heart smile.  God offers moments such as this to fill my soul with sunshine and pleasure from these moments lifts my heart again later on like now.  Find happiness around you, look to God so healing can begin.

Healing Begins
Tenth Avenue North

So you thought you had to keep this up
All the work that you do
So we think that you’re good
And you can’t believe it’s not enough
All the walls you built up
Are just glass on the outside
So let ’em fall down
There’s freedom waiting in the sound
When you let your walls fall to the ground
We’re here now
This is where the healing begins, oh
This is where the healing starts
When you come to where you’re broken within
The light meets the dark
The light meets the dark
Afraid to let your secrets out
Everything that you hide
Can come crashing through the door now
But too scared to face all your fear
So you hide but you find
That the shame won’t disappear
So let it fall down
There’s freedom waiting in the sound
When you let your walls fall to the ground
We’re here now
We’re here now, oh
This is where the healing begins, oh
This is where the healing starts
When you come to where you’re broken within
The light meets the dark
The light meets the dark
Sparks will fly as grace collides
With the dark inside of us
So please don’t fight
This coming light
Let this blood come cover us
His blood can cover us
This is where the healing begins, oh
This is where the healing starts
When you come to where you’re broken within
The light meets the dark
The light meets the dark

Thanks for praying for Mom. I touched base with her this week. She reported that she felt better but still a bit drained. I could hear the difference in her voice putting my mind at ease. Thanks for praying for Annette. She took her heavenly flight early Thursday morning, escaping world pain and worries. Please keep her family in your prayers.  Our lose is indeed heaven’s gain. RIP, dear Annette!

Marie is in charge of the linky party now that I’m officially pulling back my responsibilities in Blogosphere for the summer, but I I have my mewsic posts scheduled. The best dance party begins tomorrow at 6am right here with Monday’s Mewsic Moves Me where I’ll be sharing ‘J Song Titles‘ on the ole virtual turntable. Have a blessed Sunday afternoon! x💋x💋, Cathy

Thanks, dear Binky & Granny! Unfortunately, we these sorts of things happen and the longer we live the more we hear about it happening. Thanks for the prayers.

Great to hear that your mom is feeling better. Hope she recovers completely very soon.

      Damyanti,

Thanks! I’m sure Mom will be okay. I think it hit close to home with her this time that she has to take care of herself. Let’s hope she doesn’t forget and repeats this again anytime soon.

That’s a good tune. We’re very sorry to hear about Annette and send prayers to her family. I’m glad to hear that your Mom is doing okay.

      Brian,

I’m glad you enjoyed the song. Thanks for your kindness. Annette is free from pain. Yep, I’m really glad Mom is doing better. I just hope she puts more emphasis on herself for a change instead of everyone and everything else.

Hi Cathy 🙂 Sorry for the loss of Annette. Healing is difficult. I’m happy to hear that your Mom is doing better! Take care of yourself and enjoy your summer as best you can! xxx

      Rain,

We’re all at the stage of life unfortunately were more people we know slip from this life to the next. I remember once thinking 60 was an old, well lived life span but that’s changed. 60 is far from being old. The good news is Annette no longer is suffering. I know she rests eternally. One day, we’ll see her again. It’s a blessing to have good friends to help one through the lows as well as celebrate with during the high points of life. Have a good Sunday afternoon, my dear! 🙂
