I was fortunate as a child to have been exposed to spiritually nourishing gospel songs like the one you posted by country crooner Jim Reeves, and clean, wholesome, pop standards and seasonal sounds like this one by Bing. I believe mewsic, whether uplifting or negative, nasty and disrespectful, sinks in and influences development. Kids who are introduced to good at an early age have a better shot at growing into good adults.
We are off later this morning to spend the day with family across the state. I wish you and yours the happiest Thanksgiving ever, dear friend Cathy!
