Welcome to week 36 of Friday Sillies! This is your chance just to relax – no worries, no pressures, only fun! Life is too short to stress over politics, right? I don’t know about you, but I’ve laughed enough at myself this week.  Let’s have some fun at the other guy or gal’s expense, shall we?  Are you ready to laugh? Here goes!

Now, you wanna join the fun? If so, you may wish to consider these suggestions when linking up…

  • Show me some love — FB share, Tweet, follow me… This isn’t mandatory, just something nice to do. I’ll be happy to do the same.  😀
  • Create a wacky post that’s sure to make us giggle – rib cracking videos, hilarious pictures, jokes, funny emails, songs…If it makes you laugh, then share it! Please, keep humor clean and if you get a bit wild then kindly post a warning.
  •  Finally, the linky will be open for a full seven days from Friday to Friday. Let the laughter begin and link up below!

Hilary @ Feeling Beachie hosts Follow Friday Four Fill-In Fun . Each week, she supplies four blank statements for us to snag, fill-in, post, & link up on her blog. It’s great fun and a good way to meet other nice bloggers, like myself Hilary. big grin Hey, I’m nice, too, aren’t I?

This week’s statements she asks:

  1. I have no desire to ever return the workforce & that’s the truth!
  2. I love the smell of fresh biscuits baking and bacon frying in the early mornings because it reminds me of our early years of marriage when we would visit my DH’s parents. My sweet MIL always had these comfort foods for breakfast. What a treat!
  3. I wish that my stubborn belly fat would magicallymelt away!
  4. In one month I would LOVE to drop 10-pounds, but at this point I’ll take what I can get in the weight lose department.

I’m on a real roll this morning, I’m going to play along with Janet @ Friday Fill-Ins. This is a first in a very loooong time I’ve been fortunate to do this, so away we go. Here’s are her blank statements…

  1. Well, ok, maybe if we can get debt-free, scrape ALL of our money together for several months then we can consider moving into a larger place. Oh yeah, and if the house prices or interest rates  don’t skyrocket. There’s a lot of ifs there, but I say ‘maybe’ is definitely a possibility.

  2. I’m so smart, if Albert Einstein were alive then he’d ask me to explain his Theory of Relativity to him…okay…. that’s a stretch!

  3. When I’m making home-made cookies or other goodies I get that good old fashion feeling, like I’m living the life of a housewife from the 50s. Totally retro,  huh?

  4. Eating frequent small meals makes me feel  a bit healthier.

  5. And frankly, I think it’s despicable how the US out sources food manufacturing. Read my lips, I WON’T BUY ANY FOOD ITEMS MADE IN CHINA & MEXICO! Further more, I’m obliged to tell anyone who’s willing to listen when I find a national brand such as Kellogg’s or Hershey’s who makes some of their product lines in Mexico or else where.

  6. Liberal politicians are the root of all evil. But we can change all of this in November, if we stick together on this!

  7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to watching either more of the Olympics or a good movie and, tomorrow my plans include simply chillaxing at home and Sunday, I want to I would like to take a drive along the lake & maybe take a few pictures before doing my weekly grocery shopping

I would love to leave the workforce, especially in my current condition, but alas we are a two income household. Hope you have a great weekend!

  • Arlene

I have no desire to go back to the workforce either. Hopefully the Lord will keep me home, but if I must go back to work I’d like to work in ministry.

    Have a blessed weekend!

I have no desire to return to the workforce either and yet people ask me all the time, “What do you do?” Why don’t you work part time?” Right after they spent whining about their job for a half hour, cracks me up LOL

    Loved your funnies 🙂

Good luck losing your 10 pounds, it takes me forever to lose weight, drives me insane LOL
