Friday Sillies

Friday Funnies Baby’s on the Way Edition

I’m back with a brand new edition of Friday Funnies.  It’s been way too long since I’ve contributed to this time slot and I’ve actually missed doing it.

Last night, we had our second full moon for August which happens to be a “Blue Moon”.  These don’t happen often as you probably guessed.  A full moon is especially something to watch when one is pregnant. No, I’m not prego but my son’s wife is and she’s expected to deliver our grandson any day now.  Will this rare occurrence help to usher into this world our newest addition?  We’ll see.

In honor of my son and his wife, I’m dedicating this installment to the new parents to be.  Good luck, kids, you’re gonna need it! 🤣🤣🤣

Do you have any funny memories from your experience as an expecting parent?  I remember on the day my son was born, DH set the camcorder up in the delivery room to capture the big event.  He started off filming the nurses hooking me to everything. My mood pretty much calm, no sign of labor.  DH decided to stop recording because he was afraid he wouldn’t have enough battery life to catch the moment of birth.  Time past, labor intensified, doctor ushered into room, and that’s when DH began filming again with me a polar opposite from the few moments he filmed earlier.  It was funny going from one extreme to another but hey, he recorded our son’s arrival.  Please share your funny moments  in comments.

Are you smiling, maybe giggling a bit?  Mission accomplished! Special thanks to digitalmomblog for the above funny memes.

Feline Friday

I had a cat named Fred once.  It’s true.  When DH and I were dating a reddish orange stray male kitty showed up in my life.  I can’t recall the details now, except I took him home.  I didn’t know what to name him, so I turned to DH for suggestions and he came up with Fred. I thought DH was weird for giving the cat a human name. In hindsight I should’ve known better.  I mean, he once had a dog named Ralph.  Fred’s name grew on me in time. 😊

Earlier this morning, my Sep. 1st BOTB went live for anyone interested in voting in this knock-off round.  There’s a direct link to the post is listed in my right side menu under CAAC Catzette Current Headline News ➸➸➸.

I’m winding things up with a Baby on the Way 20-song playlist. This is CAAC signing off,  have a funtastic holiday weekend and don’t forget to boogie this way next time for Monday’s Music Moves Me!

Those are funny! The one can apply to women who suffer from pms too. Some good music to listen to and congrats on becoming another grandmother.
