The Christmas season was all too short to share with you the photos I wanted. Today concludes the last of these shots. On my January 8th WW post, I gave presented a snippet of these photos that I took with my iPhone 5s.
Now, here are images that I took with my big girl camera (Nikon D7000) of the nativity scene at the First Baptist Church on West Main Street in downtown Knoxville.
I hope you enjoyed reliving in the Christmas enhancement just a little while longer. Perhaps, this year I will have better success in bringing more magical moments of the holidays to you.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you decide to make this a repeat visit for a view through the lens on Curious as a Cathy!

I just got a Canon, but don’t really know how to use it yet, you got great pics with your ‘big girl’ camera! Thanks for the linky, I linked up, Happy WW! 🙂

You should also link this to inSPIREd Sunday when it re-opens this coming Sunday.
Thanks for the heads up on inSPIREd Sunday. I may consider linking up!
Hey Cathy, if you want to use the tilt-shift effect in camera, or rather in lens, get a LensBaby. The photos you liked so much on my site were taken with it
I haven’t tried any special effects with my camera. Once I get comfortable with focusing and adjusting the aperture then maybe I’ll do new things. DSLR cameras offer more flexibility, but I’m on the slow take to learning different things for now. Thanks for the recommendation of the LensBaby, though. 🙂
that close up is glorious!
it is begging to be enlarged and displayed at Christmas.
Wow, what a compliment! I may have to consider doing just that. 🙂
Beautiful shots, thanks for hosting!
Your photos are lovely. It doesn’t have to be Christmas to enjoy the Nativity.
That closeup image is so beautiful….quiet, peaceful, loving…just as it should be in my opinion!!!
