Friday Sillies

Enjoy Black Friday at home with grins and giggles

It’s a holiday weekend for most of us and while I’m away from Blogosphere, you can bet your bottom dollar you won’t find me at retail stores today.  Not because of the pandemic.  I think I’d happy brave that but not Black Friday.  That’s cream of the crop shopping madness, so instead I’m sharing with you some grins and giggles in this Black Friday edition of Friday Funnies!

Why not share with me funny videos or memes or anything that’s made you smile.  Send it to me via email and if I use it in my Friday Funnies segment then I will credit you for the contribution.

Tomorrow, if you’re still poking around Blogosphere, check out my newest Saturday Songsausion post.  Have a funtastic Friday, dear friends! X💋X💋, Cathy

While this has nothing to do with Black Friday, I decided to dedicate this to those who are at this phase in life and for those who have yet to experience it. I learned laughter and an occasional bout of hysteria is what gets you through this mess best!

More Friday linky parties…

Ha ! I caled to try and pay my electric bill today and Ohio Edion was only accepting calls about outages. And I wasn’t even hoping to get 30% off…

No Black Friday shopping for me! I dislike going into town at the best of times. Thanks for the giggles.

    Hi, Cathy!

Happy stay-at-home Black Friday, dear friend! I hope you have DH stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey after serving him your marvelous kitchen concoctions yesterday. Enjoy those leftovers today!

I love your Friday Funnies/Sillies dedicated to this day of Christmas shopping madness. Cranky Maxine got it right. Seems like a lot of people forget the real meaning of Christmas while they are stampeding through stores pushing and shoving each other and stealing items from each other’s carts. I’m with you and Maxine – count me out.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Queen parody song “Menopause Rhapsody.” As I have stated many times through the years, “It starts with a great song,” and the oft covered “Bohemian Rhapsody” is iconic. Many parody efforts fall short of greatness, not because the lyrics aren’t funny, but because they are not mewsically sound – not very listenable. These four talented ladies, on the other hand, put it all together into a winning package. The lyrics are brilliant and their singing and acting as they perform the song backed by what sounds like Queen’s original instrumental track, stands as a fine piece of work in its own right. The women have pleasing voices and deliver beautiful harmony all the way through. The line “At least no more Aunt Flo” is a great kicker to end the piece. Thanks for posting that great parody song. It’s one of the best I’ve ever seen and heard.

Have a wonderful Friday and a safe and happy weekend, dear friend Cathy. I shall return tamale for some much needed Songsuasion!
