Dancing in the Dark playlist

It’s time to hit the dance floor! This week’s theme I’d love for you to put your own spin on song titles/lyrics using night or dark(ness) for your song inspired picks.
The general direction I’ve gone for this month is with Halloween in mind but not necessarily in a creepy music vibe way. My thought process fixed on words I associate with the season. In today’s song line-up, I went with ‘dark’ for my search. Interestingly, I came up with 11 different song many with the same title and others similar to “Dancing in the Dark”.
There are a few other songs that would work but I didn’t include them in my set for one reason or another. I certainly would not have thought there are this many. It’s fun to dig into my music research to see what I uncover. I hope you enjoyed the set.
The party co-hostess are now featured in my right side bar underneath the 4M banner. The guidelines are simple. Every other week, a suggested (not mandatory) theme is given to build your song picks. It sounds like you are enduring a stressful time but, like a kidney stone, this too, shall pass. I hope you and your family are doing OK despite all that has happened. It’s hard losing someone you love especially when you see everyone going about their routine and your routine has been disrupted. It will take time to heal but you will. I enjoyed some of the music but others, like the last one, not so much…lol. oh well . Enjoy your day and being in nature.

We’re the whole year in staycation, CK…we all love it that way…MOL😹 We listened to your list yesterday and we didn’t know any of them, but we found our favourite (dance)mewsic in Zenglen’s Dance dance in the dark…loved it! That kitty is most awwdorable and both quotes are so purrfect for the occassion. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Day and week ahead and now let’s dance…🐾😽💞

Wow! Amazing how many different songs have the same title. First one that came to mind for me was Bruce Springsteen’s. 🙂 And such an eclectic mixture of genres too. My favourite is (no surprise, yes? 😉 ) Lilac at number 5. Have a lovely staycation! 😎
