I can’t believe there are only two days left in the A to Z Challenge, can you?  I hope you enjoyed your time as much as I have this month. It’s certainly one that I won’t forget anytime soon and I doubt you won’t either.  Moving right along, today’s illustration is inspired by another Gil Elvgren painting. My pencil sketch various from the original but I kept the general pose of my pinup gal close to Elvgren’s.

    Whoa! If I only looked like that… WOW! My husband would never leave me alone. hahahaha I cannot remember the last time I was flirted with. Sure would be nice. I need to lose some weight for sure. Have any pointers girlfriend??? It’s very hard for me to lose weight because my exercising is limited right now. Anyway, I still say you should start drawing like for children’s books or advertising. Girl, you would be so good at it. Luv ya and only one more day and A to Z is over! Now that it is it seems like it went by fast doesn’t it? Oh well, dreary cool rainy day today and what a bummer! Yesterday was wonderful. People were in shorts and outside everywhere. We had many errands to run yesterday so that was nice. My root canal hurt all night, and in the middle of the night some, but it’s starting to slow down now praise the Lord! Have a nice day sweetie… luv ya lots! hugs

    Hi, Cathy!

    Happy Wild and Almost Wordless Wednesday and “Y” Day, dear friend! Can you hear the crowd cheering up ahead as you approach the A to Z finish line?

    I dig your Yawning pinup inspired by a classic Elvgren. I can think of two possible scenarios depicted in the drawing. Perhaps it has been a long night of glamour and romance and our gal is signaling that she is sleepy and ready to hit the hay. Or maybe she is simply teasing her lover, using mock stretches and yawns to lure him into bed with her for anything but sleep. I like how she is all gussied up in lingerie and high heels. Her torso is nicely proportioned and you did a great job on her legs, arms and hair. I look forward to seeing her again In Living Color.

    “Dreaming” is one of my favorite Blondie songs and I enjoyed listening to it this morning.
