Thursday Two Questions

Thursday Two Questions

It’s Thursday. The work week is nearing an end with Friday in sight.  My DH is working on a hot project and may need to put in extra time this weekend.  This is not a complaint. We are totally grateful for his job. An occasional weekend working is better than unemployment.  We count ourselves blessed.

As I said, it’s Thursday and it’s time to link up with Thursday Two Questions hosted by Blessings Reflections.   In my earlier post, The Pine Tree State, you read about my favorite vacation destination, which brings me to my “Thursday Two Questions”, and they are:

1) What is your favorite vacation spot? I mentioned this earlier in my post.

2) What’s the one place you haven’t been, but would to visit?  For years, I’ve had the dream of traveling west.  I’d like to visit several of the national parks in that part of the country like…

Yosemite
glazier
Glazier
Yellowstone
Yellowstone
Sequoia
Sequoia
Grand Tetons
Grand Tetons

The Rocky Mountains would be phenomenal to see in person and I hope to in this lifetime. There are other landmarks I’d like to see as well, and if we ever venture that way then you can bet your last dollar that we’ll do our best to see everything possible.  We don’t waste opportunities when we take a “real” vacation since they are so rare and you can count on us maxing ourselves out!

Kathy, I have taken only one vacation since being employed, as a teen. My children and I joined our minister and his family at a church camp in upstate NY.

I would love to see some of our glorious states in the U.S.; even more of my home state Michigan…

Thanks for the visit, however, I cannot post it as it contains a link. I follow comments back. No link is needed.

    Thanks and God bless!

My favorite vacation spot would be any hotel on the shore. Ocean, Gulf, Lake or pond wouldn’t matter.

I would love to go to Texas but probably never will.

I lived in one of my favorite vacation spots which is Alaska but the other one is Cabo.

We are gradually visiting the Rocky Mountain states since they are so close to home for us now. You will love the area. The one place I really want to go is New Zealand.

    1) My favorite vacation spot is Avignon or Provence, France. My husband and I went for our honeymoon in September 2009, and it was the most relaxing experience ever! The scenery is beautiful, and there is enough to see and do that you don’t get bored, but little enough that you can actually relax and hang out. Of course, France is a bit pricey for a vacation, so my regular vacation spot that is significantly more affordable is Port Townsend, WA.

    2) I would love to see Siena, Florence, and Rome in Italy. Tuscany would also be fun. Practically anywhere in Western or Eastern Europe.

I love our vacation to the ABC Islands, and Viet Nam. Those were incredible vacations, 3 weeks worth for each. Aruba, Curacao, Barbados, St Thomas, St Martin, San Juan…We did it all. In Viet Nam, we went from North to South on a guided and inclusive tour. We had our own driver, tour guide and everything was taken care of.
We would love to go to Viet Nam again, this time to the cities we haven’t seen.
You will love Yosemite, and the different redwood parks around here. Like Gale said there are so many beautiful places, but I love traveling to a different country most.
Thanks for joining today. Have yourself a great weekend.
