Tickle Me Tuesdays

The Return of DST laughs

I have a whole lot on my plate. Waah-Waah-Wahh! Yeah, I know you don’t want to hear me crying.  I felt a bit conflicted on how to handle things today.  The only reason I decided to push this post through is because I had it done and given the subject of my funnies I didn’t want to have to wait a year to share the laughs.  We can all use more giggles, right?

Today’s post is sponsored in part by the US Government with the return of Daylight Savings Time.

There will not be a mid-month BOTB for those asking or looking.  I announced recently that I’d be holding off on participating in the showdowns until after the April A to Z Challenge.  The time spring forth an hour and soon so shall the seasons with the return of spring.  This is CAAC signing off coming up next I’ll share a new illustration with you and the TAD community.

I wish “they” would leave the time alone! I prefer DST year around but who am I to say. Love your funnies and Happy Tuesday on Wednesday. Btw, thanks for the mention. 🥰

They truly need to let Daylight Savings Time go be the wayside. I am all screwed up…more than usual. I love Maxine and her cat.

We’re still trying to get our schedule working with the time change. I hate the time change. I enjoyed all your funnies about the time change. Great chuckles.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Love and hugs. ♥

      Sandee,

I welcome DST and wish it would stay like this. The only thing I really hate about the time change is having to set the clocks that don’t do so automatically in the house. 🙂

I really could do without this silly DST business. Even though I’m retired it still affects me. I wanted to sleep in a bit this morning but my wife had an early doctor appointment so I had to get up so she’d be ready. Maybe tomorrow.

I have a midmonth Battle up. Hope you’ll stop by to vote.

      Lee,

The change can be difficult and the first day usually throws me but I really like the longer sunlight hours with DST. I’d wish this was our normal time all the time. I’ll be over to check out your BOTB soon!

    Hi, Cathy!

Happy Tickle Me Tuesday, dear friend! I hope you and DH had a nice weekend.

I enjoyed your Sillies related to the dreaded Daylight Saving Time spring forward clock change. I should have known you were saving a zinger by grumpy Maxine for this occasion. That’s a great gag, and I’d love to have a coffee mug like hers. “The Monday After Spring Forward” sponsored by caffeine is another good one. Did you notice the words “Hello, is it me you’re looking for?” on the guy’s monitor? I’m sure you recognize them as the lyrics of the song “Hello,” Lionel Richie’s 1984 chart-topping single:

I’ve been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I’ve kissed your lips a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door
Hello, is it me you’re looking for?

Hello, is it me you’re looking for?
Is it me, is it me, is it me
Is it me you’re looking for?
Is it me, is it me

Thank you for the morning giggles, dear friend Cathy. Hugs & Kisses to you as well. Have a great week and I’ll be back to see you on Rain Date Thursday!

      Tom,

You have a keen eye for detail. I did notice these things and every time I see or hear the word “Hello, is it me you’re looking for?” I think of Lionel Richie and what a nice guy he seems to be. I’d love to meet him one day! I don’t dread DST. I love the extra sunlight in the afternoons and I’d wish this was our schedule all the time. Thanks for popping by today for some giggles!
