Good morning, peeps! I threw a curve ball last week sneaking in my mid-month battle. Voting was down but that’s on me for the change in schedule and for that I’m sorry for causing some to miss the showdown.
I used two metal covers of Vicki Lawrence’s The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia. I listened to my selections again and then again once more. I went with Bitter Apathy who gave me the shivers a wee bit more. The under emphasized instrumentals allowed the lead singers voice seem more chilling.
Okay, let’s how the votes fell.
Bitter Apathy – Ed, Mimi, Lydia, Me
Said and Done – Diedre, Sandee, Stephen, Lee, Brian, Eugi, John, Birgit, Debbie
There you have it, SAID AND DONE murdered their contender. Okay, once more let’s listen to the winning cover!
My next battle is set for November 1st!
⚡️⚡️News flash! ⚡️⚡️ Tomorrow, on Curious as a Cathy Part 2, (see side menu for link) I’m publishing the first of my vacation pictures. Have a bandtastic day!

Thanks for posting your results. That was an interesting battle! I didn’t see my name, but I also picked Said and Done. Looking forward to your vacation photos! 🙂
Debbie,
I meant to add you but forgot. I corrected that, though. I have too many irons in the fire on this end. Some days, I don’t know if I’m comin’ or goin’. lol Thanks for calling this to my attention, my friend!
No worries! 🙂
