This is day 5 of the music challenge, hosted by Mary at JingleJangleJungle. I accidentally stumbled on a pattern or direction I plan to pursue over the next four weeks as I share new song discoveries with you or I might push aside the cobwebs to find an old forgotten tune. What ever I spin for you, I hope you enjoy the mewsic. Hit play to sample The National Anyone’s Ghost!
I think I’m ready for another cup of coffee. Why not top your cup off and follow me as I make rounds to visit a few of my favorite Tuesday blog communities, Random Tuesday Thoughts (Stacy) and Happy Tuesday (Sandee).
Here are my Tuesday 4 “Autumn Days’ questions responses:
- Are you decorating your home for fall? Thanksgiving? Show us some photos if you don’t mind! Unfortunately, I am not. I haven’t done a lot of this in several years. I just haven’t been much in the mood to do it.
- Are trees changing in your area yet? Do you mind showing a fall photo from your area? Our colors aren’t much to speak of yet. I believe the upper elevations in the Smoky’s are beginning to show according to a local news blurt from last week. Here’s a picture of the Fountain City Duck Pond not too far from our home that I took several years ago. We aren’t anywhere near these colors yet.
- Do you like to use scents in your home? What kind do you use and what scents do you enjoy in your home. The only scents I like using is at Christmas. I make as stove-top potpourri of orange peel, cinnamon sticks, and glove.
- Fall’s weather usually turns a bit chilly. Sometimes we change how we eat by seasons. Can you share a nice recipe for a good fall meal with us? I usually like making home-made chili when the weather turns cooler. I have plans to make some in the coming days, as well as try a few new soup recipes I borrowed from the net.
The word prompt at Eugi’s Causerie a few weeks back was ‘Autumn Leaves’. I’m just now getting around to sharing my poetry ditty.
Tomorrow I’ll be back with more mewsic and who knows what other surprises I might have for you with my mid-week Wild Wednesdays linky party where just about anything goes. I’ll see ya then!
