A Special January Song Playlist

Good morning, Kittens and Dawgs! It’s fabulous to see you! How was your holiday season?  I can’t believe it’s now all behind us as we look toward a new year.  I cannot keep or even start resolutions so I’m not even going to go there.  I do know what I hope to accomplish but whether I do or don’t I’m not gonna beat myself up over it.  Are you ready to groove to some mewsic?

My brother-in-law’s wife, Susan, celebrates her birthday this week and a few days after that, they celebrate their wedding anniversary.  Today’s ‘your choice‘ song picks inspiration comes from these two special occasions in which I used source material from playback.fm Top 100 Songs (1955)  & Top 100 Songs (1972 charts.

I decided to use Bill Haley & His Comets primarily for my playlist because one of Susan’s passions is star gazing and this band had four songs from the year she was born (1955) – Rock Around The Clock, Rock a Beatin’ Boogie, Razzle Dazzle, & Mambo Rock.  I finished up with only one song from 1972, Bobby Vinton Sealed With A Kiss dedicated to her wedding anniversary year.

Please join fellow co-hosts: XmasDolly (4M Brain Child), StacyAlana, Colette and this month’s honorary co-host who wishes to remain anonymous known as, The Shadow, on the dance floor.

🎶This is a mewsic link up ONLY, all non-mewsic posts are subject to removal or labeled ‘NO MEWSIC‘.🎶

Fun facts about Susan…she’s an avid cat lover, a pastor’s daughter, a number-cruncher, list-maker, biker-chick, pianist, NASCAR fan, environmentalist, stargazer, and gutartist.

Keep those tunes playing, your body swaying, and I’ll be boogieing over to see you soon. Have a sparkletastic day!  X💋X💋,  Cathy
