g2km part 5: Questions 61-70 #CathyChats

Good-morning, kittens & dawgs! YouTube reminded me of the supergroup Blind Faith under recommended mewsic. Have you heard of them? I tripped over this band composed of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Steve Winwood, and Ric Grech last November while composing my 4M post with Presence of the Lord.  Enjoy the YouTube playlist (not all songs are by the band) share while you read today’s g2km answers!

61.  Do you have any allergies? I have mild allergies to some foods which does not keep me from eating the offenders. The most aggrevating allergies are pollen, mold, and dust. Three things I just can’t seem to escape no matter what time of the year it is.
62.  Do you have any birthmarks? If so, where? Yes, I have a small place, along with two smaller skin tags on the inside of my left leg just above my knee. It always makes me think of Panda Bear face for some reason.
63.  Do you hold any convictions that you would be willing to die for? My faith in Christ is my strongest conviction. Hopefully, I’ll never be placed in a situation where my faith puts my life on the line but I’m willing to die for Jesus. He died for me.
64.  Do you prefer kissing or cuddling? I love to cuddle and kiss, so why do I need to choose? I pick both!
65.  What piece of technology can you not live without? Internet technology. Having the ability to consult an enormous data base such as Google for information is a time saver and the conveniece of buying online beats shopping in retail stores, as well it provides a great way to stay connected with friends/family and do fun stuff like blogging or other social networking.
66.  What was the first concert you ever attended?  I answered this question some years ago, here, and I’m not sure if this qualifies but the first concert I went to was a contemporary Christian performance, Sammy Hall, who once was the vocalist for a popular 60s rock group, The Birdwatchers, from Florida. What’s interesting is Sammy Hall lived in Sevierville TN at that time and I had no clue where that was until after we settled into the area.  Sadly, while pulling this post together I learned Hall passed away in June 2013.  My life was in upheavel April – June of the same year due a severe gastrointestinal problems. Anywho, while listening to some of Hall’s mewsic this one brought back memories of that concert.

67.  What was your favorite subject in High School? Naturally, Art was my favorite high school class. 🙂
68.  What was your first job?  Patricia (sadly, she no longer blogs) asked this question in one of her chit chat on a farmhouse porch years ago but if you don’t have time to filter through that post, then I did janitoral work in Junior High for a short period, maybe for a semester. It felt much longer but then time seemed to stand still when I was a kid.
69.  What was your least favorite subject in High School? Math. Anything having to do with logic didn’t make a lot of sense.
70. What is your most commonly used swear word? I don’t swear often and when I do it’s usually under my breathe.  I think the use of inappropriate words is not  necessary and certainly isn’t a good example for others, so I’m going leave it at that. 😉
