Last week, I honestly didn’t know if I’d turn around to compose another installment of Saturday Songsausion this week but today’s artist pick crossed my ears on a fellow 4Mer’s blog. It had been years since I’d heard the song track, ‘The Breakup Song’ (#2 on playlist below). Thanks RamblinwithAM! Which prodded me to listen to more music by the musician. Using Wiki, I built a playlist based on today’s artist US Hot 100 hits. Let’s give a warm welcome to Greg Kihn!
Instead of transposing the song titles in chronological order and where each placed on the charts, I did a screen grab at Wiki. A picture paints a thousand words, right? Who am I kidding, I’m just too lazy this morning to do it. 🙂
Greg has a fun sense of humor. During the 80s, he released a series of pun-titled albums Kilntinued (1982), Kihnspiracy (’83), Kihntagious (’84), and Citizen Kihn (’85) which you can find playlists on Greg’s YT channel. Do you remember the Greg Kihn band? Are you a fan? What songs do you remember, other than his top ranking song, Jeopardy?
Thanks for including me in your Saturday morning. This post is for your entirely for your enjoyment, so don’t feel any pressure to leave a comment but if you want to let me know you stopped by just click “Liked” and I’ll see that you stopped by. 😉
Tomorrow, I’ll be back with Monday’s Music Moves Me on Sunday with freedom of music choice and I’m saving a dance with you, so come join me on the dance floor. Have a songsational Saturday! x💋x💋, Cathy
