In the valley #photo

Welcome Kittens & Dawgs! It’s so nice to see you today. I am participating in the April A-Z Blog Challenge. In order to get ready, then I am rolling all of my photo contributions into this one post and I’m temporarily suspending my featured photographer nomination from here until April 30.

Now, I invite you to link your direct URL to your photo posts below regardless if it’s Wordless Wednesday or another photo hop.

Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains
In the valley of the Smoky Mountains lays the Cades Cove community. It was a gorgeous late winter day, but the temperatures reminded me of spring.
Deer in the woods at Cades Cove
Nearing the end of the 11-mile one-way loop road into the Cades Cove community this little doe bid us goodbye or so I like to think.

I’m sharing today’s post….

Lexa is the hostess of  Celebrate the Small Things. This week I’m celebrating the return of spring. It’s been rather windy, but the temperatures nice. We’ll see more stable conditions after the calendar flips over again. Another thing I’m celebrating is preparing for the #AprilA2Z challenge. This meme takes a lot of time but it’s quite fun and I love researching the daily alphabet prompt for my theme. This year I’m going with All Things Vintage and ask that you join me on the first. Feel free to subscribe to my blog via email (see sidebar for sign-up) so that you don’t miss a single post! What are you celebrating?

Have a fototastic day!

Brushstrokes app creation of doe bids goodbye
Using the previous photo, I created this oil-like painting in Brushstrokes and am sharing it with the s-A(R)T-urday group

I highly recommend and use these photo-editing programs: Pixelmator,  Adobe Photoshop Elements, Affinity, Brushstroke, and Waterlogue. You can learn more about these using the above affiliate search app widget.
