For John’s final theme week for this month on the Monday’s Mewsic Moves Me, he’s asking us to pay tribute in song to the 65th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest. You’ll find all the winners here from 1956-2019. I was surprised by the handful of singers I knew by name Lulu (1969), ABBA (1974), Bucks Fizz (1981), Celine Dion (1988), & Katrina and the Waves (1997). I’m sure there are others I’ll discover that I know when I sample their music but today I’m going to feature the winner of the 1976 Eurovision contest with Save Your Kisses For Me. A band I feel like I’ve heard and yet I can’t say with complete certainty. Hit play to sample tunes by Brotherhood of Man!
Brotherhood of Man ’76 Winner playlist tracks: 1. Save Your Kisses For Me 2. Angelo 3. United We Stand 4. Figaro 5. Oh Boy (The Mood I’m In) 6. My Sweet Rosalie 7. Heartbreaker 8. Middle Of The Night 9. People Over The World 10. Beautiful Lover

This is a mewsic linky party. Every other week we have a suggested mewsic theme (see side menu) to build your song set around and all participants share YouTube or Vimeo videos for our mewsic enthusiasts. Failure to meet this basic guideline puts your URL in danger of being removed or labeled – NO MUSIC.
I hope you enjoyed Brotherhood of Man. Do you remember this band? If so, what songs other than what’s on today’s line up come to mind? With the approach of summer in clear sight, this means Internet traffic will practically grind to a halt and I may slip into my summer blogging routine to post once a week. I’ll give you the heads up when I know what my plans are, though. Meanwhile, that’s a wrap. Have a boogietastic week! X💋X💋, Cathy
