This is DD#2. Isn’t she beautiful? The procedure for the blockage in her lung turned out to be no blockage at all. I guess that’s good news of sorts, huh? The surgeon did remove a lot of nasty stuff from her lungs and she was given instructions to do a lot of coughing and walking. This will help speed up the process of getting pneumonia out of her lungs.
DD#2 was released from the hospital on Saturday. She has fluid in her lungs still and is able to go to work, but the doctor warned her if she runs a fever to get back to the hospital immediately. They will need to remove the fluid to avert another case of pneumonia.
I really appreciate all the fine prayers you sent on behalf of our daughter. God is so awesome to hear our prayers and answer our needs. If you would be so kind, then please continue the prayers for complete healing.
Now, today there won’t be a regular random post. Don’t sweat it, I’ll be back tomorrow. I’m overhauling my blog appearance again. Yeah, call me crazy if you want, but the artistic side of me just won’t let it go and I gotta do something fun.
Oh yeah, we were hit with an ice storm last Friday closing most of Knoxville’s businesses and schools. We all stayed home where it was safer with no worries. The temperatures were so horribly cold. Ugh, I hate winter! We may get another round of wintry mix this Friday. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that it will just pass us by.
While I’m busy remodeling my site, then why not grab a cup of coffee and visit with some of my lovelies.
Have a terrific Tuesday!
