Hello, kittens & dawgs! I took this gorgeous view this past Monday in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The peak in the background is Chimney Tops, a very popular hiking spot in the mountains. We have not hiked the trail. We’re told it’s a fairly strenuous climb.
Fall is making its presence known gently with slight foliage change and nippier a.m. temps. In this shot the colors are beginning to show and I think by early next week the change will be much more visible

It’s been awhile, since I’ve joined the Celebrate the small things meme and I thought I’d do so today.
- I celebrate being approved for the drug assistance program, since we have no insurance due DH’s job loss.
- I celebrate the change in seasons. Fall is my favorite!
- I celebrate my weight loss success.
- I celebrate that my blog is back up after nearly being down a week. 😀
- I celebrate spending time with DH.
Life should be celebrated, even when it seems like you have no reason to celebrate. Just look around, I bet you’ll see something good! What are you celebrating?
